Food was ok. But why the heck they don't have a restroom. Not going back there! Waitress we had was very good but food was a 2 star

Hello and thank you Urban for a dinner night out!

I was very interested in this place based on the reviews- and for the most part our experience was ok. We did not make a reservation, and dined in, but the atmosphere was a little weird when we arrived. The owner seemed to be personally hosting several tables, and we felt like we were intruding on an event. We asked the waiter if there was an event ongoing, but he specified there wasn’t- so maybe it was just an off night🤷🏼‍♀️. Grateful to have been seated without a reservation and was able to try the place on a Friday night!

We ordered the Caesar, garlic bread and two pasta dishes, and they seemed to be inundated in cheese. But otherwise they tasted alright- and our waiter was very nice and friendly.

The main dishes/pasta are priced around $20-$25 base- and around $5-$9 to add a protein, but it was a little confusing because the wait staff asked if we wanted to add protein- even for dishes that already had a protein- making us think none of the dishes came with protein. My partner ended up getting a dish with both Beef and sausage due to the confusion- and it was a bit too much.

Please continue to support this local business! While we may not return as there are other local Italian places in the area we prefer with a better ambiance and food quality, please give this place a try!

I submit that this is the best Italian restaurant in Northern Virginia. Their food is consistently delicious. I've never tasted a dish that wasn't outstanding.

The service is always superior and the ambiance is great. The cute patio is perfect for warm nights. The pricing is competitive with most entrees $20-25. The portion size is generous, which makes for a great lunch the next day.

I'm in town for work and I'm so upset I didn't find this restaurant sooner! Absolutely amazing! Everything was so fresh and delicious. I had the Bucatini and wow! They do not skimp on the seafood. The sauce has the perfect amount of spiciness to it. The Bruschetta with the whipped ricotta is wonderful. Service was fantastic. Very friendly and inviting environment. I could eat here everyday!

Very mixed feelings about this place. Ordered pickup for 2 and showed up about 5 minutes early from my projected pickup time but they forgot to make my order. To compensate, I was given a free glass of wine while I waited for them to make my order.

We got 4 things:
Herb Arancini app - Ok
Strozzapreti - Terrible, bland and tasteless
Trofie - Great
Brownie - Great

Not sure if we'll order here again.

Sweet Italian cafe. The place is cozy and the staff is very friendly. They will serve you the best and let there best to make you fulfill your needs. The girl kept on asking if we need anything after every meal. We tried smashed potatoes and tomatoes sauce pasta. The potatoes were good. But I liked the pasta more. The pasta was hand made on the spot by twisting flour and sauce was also home made or cafe made. The taste was simple and amazing. The pasta didn’t felt like over or heavy evening after eating half. I guess the quantity was less for two as per the price but still bad. If you are looking for a bit of Italian pasta made fresh like Italy then must visit this place and taste according to your experience.
