This place was absolutely fantastic. Upon sitting down we were given edamame and some spring rolls with our sushi. The food was fantastic, exceeded expectations. House salad was amazing the ginger dressing was to die for. And then at the end we got little complimentary cheesecake bites. Such a great place, our server was wonderful and we loved the experience.

This is one of the best sushi joints around. They specialize in chefs rolls, so if your looking for a wide variety of plain sushi/sashimi, they have a few but it's not what's recommended. Their special rolls are amazing and they give free edamame, spring rolls, and cheesecake for dessert. The service is amazing and friendly, and they are always accommodating.

I ordered the sashimi lunch special, the fish was watery and tasteless. It made me think it was frozen after it was cut into individual pieces. Not appetizing in the least, threw it out. I also bought the Christmas Tree roll. Loaded with seaweed salad on top and not in a good way. The tuna was not tataki style, it was rubbery tuna. Threw that out too. I emailed YamaChen's and didn't receive a reply. Poor quality sushi and sashimi. Would never go back. Addendum: Criss, the general manager emailed me and reimbursed me for the total amount of the meal. Thank you.
