This is a true wayside diner in an old 50s/60s style shop. The donuts are very good. Heavy and sweet just like they should be. The coffee was really good. I love those old diner coffee cups. The eggs were perfectly over-easy. Hot Biscuits came buttered. City ham and hash browns were not very good. They both had an odd flavor as if fish had been cooked on the griddle right before. Sausage gravy was not in our top five, but decent with ample portions. Country ham was very good but...

Very friendly service and atmosphere. My friend and I stopped in here for the first time and we got coffee and donuts. The coffee was excellent and so were the donuts. I will definitely be back and am looking forward to trying other things on the menu.

We were meandering through the beautiful back roads of Virginia when we stopped here on a whim. They didn't make donuts that day and were out of a few things, but what we got was delicious and we enjoyed our time there.
