Went here the other day with a group of friends and had a great time here! The food was great and the staff was nice! The place was clean and we were served in a timely manner! I highly recommend trying their food!
We always get consistently good food and service at El Gran Puerto. We were seated right away and our server was attentive without being annoying. They started us with chips and salsa and brought more with our meal. The meals came quickly and were hot. I had the veggie fajitas hubby order several items ala carte, and we each had one beer. Didn’t check out the restrooms, but the dining room was clean.
I got the Molcajete,A hot lava rock bowl filled with choice of shrimp, sirloin steak, chicken or carnitas, charro beans, salsa de molcajete, chorizo, nopales, onions and mushrooms. It's all covered with queso asadero. Baked in their brick oven and served with fresh guacamole and flour tortillas. It takes just a few minutes(maybe 3-5) longer to cook but it's worth the little extra wait!
