Let's be honest have we ever really had bad Mexican food? El gran Puerto is a historical landmark of augusta county. We just lost the OG el Puerto in Staunton, which was a soul crusher to most of us in the valley. But anyway, food is awesome, the restraunt leaves you feeling like you're in a clint Eastwood western and the employees always have a smile on their faces. Even if they are talking about you in Spanish 🤣😝
I do like their food very much. The nachos supreme with chicken is my favorite. Chips are hit and miss. They’re either really good or not fresh. I prefer ordering to-go but I don’t place my order until I get there bc 1) they are very fast and 2) ordering ahead often causes my food to be cool or cold bc they are so fast.
