We really enjoy this bake shoppe! We've purchased pies, bread, cookies, and cinnamon rolls and loved it all! Best treat, hands down, is their fresh baked soft pretzels.🥨 Don't just take my word for it...the entire community (and surrounding areas) agree! Those are the only times where you will have trouble finding parking and there will be a long line to wait in. I promise you, it is worth it and they will work through the line quickly. Enjoy everything this lovely shop has to offer!

This place was not easy to find at first. Had to do a uturn. The parking lot is behind the bakery. When you go in you take a right to sit inside and a left to go into the shop. It's a cute shop with lots of things to buy. I had a lot of issues with them not putting an expiration date or even an Amish code. I asked the employee how old was the two cakes I had were. She told me they were fresh. So I asked was it baked today? She said " no probably yesterday". So as many items how do you know which ones are old ?.. she told me to put them in the fridge and I can keep it for a week. Well my buying week or when they put it on the self ( which you have no clue if they rotated the product or how long it was on the shelf). I wanted a croissant but it felt hard. Very disappointed.

I think it's great that you donated your products to charity after work on Saturday . I also like to support charities. I purchased my cakes on Saturday morning which would make my cakes a week old. I was considering buying a croissant but it did not feel fresh. So it makes sense now because it could of been a week old since your business bakes on Sunday/ Monday. Croissants and cinnamon rolls should be eaten within 2 /3 days according to a lot of articles I've read. I do wish you and your business a lot good luck. It's a cute store.

My wife brought a "no sugar added" apple pie home to WV. She wasn't planning on buying it but our 3yo granddaughter decided to poke her finger through the wrap to sample a taste. Unfortunately, the pie was disappointing as it was 90% filling and 10% apples. We will not be eating anymore of it after one piece. I can't speak to their other baked goods but I would not recommend fruit pies if this one is typical.

Found out from a friend that they had gluten free pretzels and it was their last day but I wasn't going to make it in time, I called and they said come on in! The service was so friendly, and explained everything available and there was so much! The man who helped me was even allergic himself and they have a dedicated gf kitchen!

New to the area, and tried their Liberty Pie (cherry/blueberry). Filling was excellent; crust very good, not doughy and tough like many shortening-based crusts). Crust nearly as good as my Mom’s (but then she makes a flaky butter crust taught to her by my great-grandmother who was a pastry chef in the German royal court). Really exceptional pie.
