Sanzone's Italian Restaurant

I love this place. I’m a local and have been a regular customer to Sanzone’s for many years. The food is great, but the real treat is the staff. You really feel important when dining there. You’re treated like a true guest. Whether the servers are getting a break, or slammed, they keep the same positive attitude. This is a great local restaurant to support.

The quest to continue trying out new places in the area was not good at this restaurant. The service here was good. Our waitress was everything that we had hoped she would be. The food on the other hand... not great. We got a sampler to start. Most of it was good but the chicken tenders were not a hit. I ordered the angel hair pasta with pesto and added Fried Chicken to it for $3.25. The Fried Chicken was a cheap chicken tender that was cut up and spread on top. The dish lacked flavor and a fried chicken breast that I paid for. My date had the Chicken cordon blue... it was cooked well but was obviously frozen and 100% tasteless. The sauce/gravy they put on top was a decent touch but even that had no flavor. Moving to the decor, it was dark and clammy in there. Nothing about it felt welcoming. Overall, this was a fail. If it wasn't for the waitress being nice, I would've left 1 star.

We sat down and the server or hostess never offered to take our drink order restaurant wasn't busy at all. We sat and waited while the server decided to do her refills and spent a lot of time in back of restaurant we really didn't seem important up and left

Really good food, and decent service, until you get chased into the parking lot by a waitress demanding a bigger tip. Look, I've been a waiter. I know how important tips are financially. But at a restaurant that's not on the cheaper end, I'd assume the salary can't be that bad. Bad enough to chase someone away, because I'm sure not coming back nor recommending it now!

Kid-friendliness: The kids menu is also quite limited in options.

Stopped in for lunch, the Tomato Florentine soup and BLT were delicious. The prices are on point and the service was top notch! I can’t remember our servers name but she’s been with Sanzone’s for 17years and she’s quite the jokester! (It’s her secret side hustle)

I was craving italian and found this place closest to my house which was convenient. I had high expectations because of the reviews. The food was not good. The spaghetti and meatballs was very bland. I also ordered cheesy bread and it was melted shredded cheese on a sub roll. It was not good. The only good thing about this experience was the service. The register lady was very nice. It’s a shame the food did not match the level of service. I will not be returning.

This has become one of our favorite places to eat. Excellent food at excellent prices. My sister-in-law lived in Italy several years and said the food reminders her of there.

One of the best in Stuart's Draft. We got meals to go - 100 year old Mum and her 98 year old sister can't get up out of restaurant chairs. We got what auntie recommended and it was great. Thanks Salzone's for accommodating our special requests.

Dietary restrictions: Mum doesn't like American cheese and they were happy to substitute another cheese!
