Micali’s Trattoria

Amazing food. Very clean. Wait service is always good. I would prefer not to be called Honey or sweetie though.

Recently returned back home to our mountains after living away for many years and my husband asked me to find a true Italian restaurant with homemade spaghetti and meatballs! He was thrilled with my find of Micali's Trattoria. The food was delicious and the service was great.

Waited an hour for our food, and they didn’t give us plates for the bread, then we decided we wanted to leave and go to El Puerto instead. They followed my disabled parents and grandmother to their car and threatened to call the cops because of our drinks but then once we offered to pay for the drinks they said no you have to pay for the food that never got to your table… so we went back inside and picked at the terrible food that we didn’t even feel comfortable eating even if the service had been good the food was still terrible.

There was an error in the review- my mistake. That said the experience was still disappointing. We were overcharged for our items, no matter how many dollars off it was. When we brought it to the staffs attention they were incredibly rude. Rather than resolving the issue, the owner seems more focused on going back and forth in the reviews than addressing customer concerns without blaming them for the experience. Mistakes happen but the utter lack of accountability and poor customer service speaks volumes.

The prices that are listed in the menu are actually not what you are charged. Next time you eat there, I implore you to compare your receipt to the price on the menu. They up charge every menu item including drinks, and when I asked the hostess about this she became hostile, started speaking over me and cutting me off before I could finish what I was saying or asking. The food and drinks were upcharge, also the sales tax (obviously), a meal tax, and an additional card tax. Furthermore, the food took 40 minutes to get to us after waiting 20 minutes for our order to be taken. Most of the food was cold when it got to the table.

ABSOLUTELY NOT WORTH YOUR MONEY! Better off going to Sanzones.

Being from the NJ/NY area I passed this place for years before finally going in. Well did I miss out. Best authentic Italian that would rival some NJs restaurants. I have been a regular for years now.

The cheesesteaks are not even close to being Philly cheesesteaks. FFS just call them cheesesteaks. Pizza crust way toooooo soggy. Not real Italian anything

Food was ok. Portions could have been a little better. The waiter tried but he needs a second person to help or at least someone to go around and refill drinks.

The food is so good in this place I have been there multiple times and it is good I recommend it😁👍
