Honestly, we've eaten there over time, and the food has been great; other times, totally regretted it. Wish there was more consistency. But this visit was totally impressive. The crab stuffed mushrooms were fabulous. The fried oysters were cooked perfectly. Batter very light. Not greasy. Had company visiting, and we went back a couple of nights later to get hamburgers. The burgers were medium rare as we ordered. And the fries were fresh cut. Not frozen out of a bag. Glad I gave them another chance.

They’ve added “open air” seating in the front of the restaurant, and added an additional meeting room - I think it’s called the Hangar - for private parties. Baron’s Pub has been consistent in its food offerings. Try a Baron Burger. You won’t be disappointed.

Went to have a drink and order food after work, the bar closed at 10:51pm. They Supposed to stay open until 12am. Bad business, Misleading the Public.

Carla closes the restaurant at 10:45 or 11:00pm the nights She work Monday-Thursday… the Restaurant do not stay open until 12am unless it’s Friday.. So if you looking to relax and have a drink after work or some food, don’t go the nights she working she Closes the bar when she feel like it!

I want to start by saying our server was excellent. But Barons Pub really needs to do something about its menu.
My husband and I came to Barons to celebrate. He ordered the cowboy Burger, and I got steak bites and the onion soup. The steak was bland, and dry. I tried to make it better with a1 but it was just unappetizing. We also got my husband a spiced pear martini and it tasted like soap.
We sent both (the drink and the steak) back having barely touched either. (I finished two steak bites - one without sauce and one with, and he took a sip of his drink). I did finish my onion soup but it tastes like they buy a $2 packet of au jus seasoning, throw it into hot water with croutons and cheese slices. It was also really unappetizing but I finished it.
My husband had 2 other drinks which were fine. I mention our entire order because we came there knowing we were going to spend money on a nice dinner.
Ultimately we spent $86 and half of our order was just terrible. I dont expect to get the things we didnt eat and sent back for free, but the $1.50 off just felt like an insult.
I want to say our server was really nice and attentive.

If you like CHEERS vibes this is it. great old bar with Excellent food. Get the stuffed mushrooms! its a great place, not to loud, not to dark, beer is good price, food is excellent.
We use to get 2 pieces of fish and the plate was loaded with French fries; we go every Friday for the fish. We went Friday, June 27, we got one small shriveled up piece of fish and a small handful of fries. The hush puppies were burned so we didn't eat them, they raised the price and kept half the food. We will not be going back. I did notice there was not near as many people as usual. Maybe that's why. I will be going to George's steak house, they have fish on Friday, and the plate is loaded.

Today was our first time here and I dont know why; we work right down the street. We really enjoyed our lunch. Our server couldn't have been more pleasant. We plan on checking out a night at the bar in the near future. This is a downtown gem.

This place serves up eats that are almost too good to be true, and their daily lunch and dinner specials are the icing on the cake (to include the multi-layer cake on the bar). Plus, the staff is super friendly, and they've just added Bold Rock Beer to their lineup - talk about a win-win! Highly recommend trying the mermaid water!
