Had lunch there recently and, while I thought the food tasted great, it was priced too high. I ordered the roast beef sandwich...it was $6.99. This is what I got (but double it, so two halves). Not including the fries bc they were an extra $1.89. The hush puppies and roll were nice but they came as appetizers while waiting for our meal, which was fine. But I felt that two slices of roast beef on white bread, alone, was a meager offering for seven dollars plus tax. Even the lettuce was 50¢ extra. In all fairness, the waitress did say that "they put on a couple of slices" when I asked how much beef was on it, but I gave it a shot anyway, for fun. She wasn't kidding about the amount. I will be ordering something else next time I visit.

The food here is very much down home good and I mean Good!!! The only thing that I did not like was the restroom . They could be a bit cleaner and neater in decor otherwise the food is worth it.

I am sooooo sorry!!! I do not know why this place gets any favorable ratings!!! The food I ordered was terrible!!! I ordered hamburger steak and it was tasteless!! I mean horrible!!! It tasted like cardboard... The mashed potatoes were disgusting. Straight from the box!! I also had butter beans. They were tasteless and nasty as well. I don't know what's going on with this establishment.. I used to go there a long time ago and that same dish tasted waaaaay better!! Probably a new cook... I could not eat it! The meat even tasted very different from before. The beef was cold and hard slathered with gravy and old grilled onions. I was very disappointed.. I took it home and gave it to my dog. I remind U I spent over $12 for this meal!! I recommend U save your money. U will not be happy. This place has gone to the dogs!!!😪
