My first time here. The atmosphere is great, however the bar service is terrible. My husband and I have been here over 45 minutes and not one server came to our table.

Not a bad place, but I think it's a bit overpriced. We ordered the crab dip and it was ok. My wife ordered the surf and turf and said the braised short rib tasted like roast beef, and I ordered the crab cake, which was delivered luke warm and was only a single patty with a little bit of veggies underneath. The drinks were good, and the service was good. We had a party of 6 and they added a 20% gratuity to the bill, which was fine by me. Overall, it was a pleasant experience, but I don't think I'll be returning for anything other than some cocktails.

First let me say I was in the speak easy. Next let me say the speak easy left me speechless! The ambience was great nice music soft lighting and the seats were very comfortable. Now here goes the downfall. We ordered a appetizer which was the shrimp fire crackers. They were ok small portion but they were ok. Next the meal...... now I have a serious problem with the prices they charge that you can't substitute anything I ordered the roasted chicken it came with beets which I don't like and I couldn't substitute anything for them so I just said keep them. But I still had to pay full price. My wife ordered a seafood pasta with crab meat and shrimp. It was ok but honestly I've had better at applebees minus the crabmeat. Now my meal was horrible! There was only 6 brussel sprouts on my plate and the sweet potatoes were like a mush and the chicken was served on top of that. The chicken was ok nothing to write home about but it was ok. And the price almost $200.00 for 3 drinks two if the drinks were half drinks to me a piece of chicken and pasta. Needless to say I will never go back! Vintage Tavern is upscale dining 10 minutes up the street with real drinks and the chefs allow you to substitute and will even go out of there way to do things not on the menu. That's called keeping the customer happy and coming back. Maybe I should give the cook some lessons. In my opinion this place is a one and done type of place. The new name for this place should be SPEECHLESS!

The speakeasy is beautiful and our service was fantastic. The drinks were delicious and presented well. My new favorite is their smoked old fashioned. A must have!
The food was mediocre at best.
Oyster Rockefeller is not traditional and not noted. So the disappointment of what came out was evident at the table.
Surf and turf alternate actually cost me $9 more. I don't mind upcharging when adding something more but I removed seafood and changed it to thr parmesian risotto. They drowned it in a sauce unfortunately as well. The crab soup was brought out Luke warm for 4 of the guest. Overall the food should have been the star of the show but it was not.
There was 6 of us. Our meal cost over $800 and none of us were impressed with our meals.
I have marked this spot as our dessert and drinks spot due to the beautiful atmosphere and pleasant service.
But never a ladies night out or dinner date.
Disappointed.

Super disappointed to have to leave this review after finally getting to try Fin & Tonic during Suffolk Restaurant week.
Kitchen was slow tonight which wasn't a big deal as we weren't in a rush. We did get a comp order of she crab soup for the wait on our appetizers which was delicious. We both ordered off the restaurant week pre fixe, tuna tartar and firecracker shrimp both very good and the highlight of the meal.
The entrees we ordered one beef filet, one chicken. We didn ask how the chicken was prepared and we're told it was a seared breast. It actually ended up being two breaded tenders. The mashed sweet potatoes were good but the accompanying demi was so overpowering.
Again a bit of a wait for our dessert, not a big deal. We did have a manger come out with the desserts and offer a discount for the eait which was unexpected and appreciated. Again two desserts from the restaurant week menu, flourish chocolate cake and bread pudding. The flowers chocolate cake ended up being the almond joy cake and was very good. The first few bites of the bread pudding were good as well as the ice cream that went with it, then discovered that the bread pudding was still frozen inside.
Our server was truly lovely and apologetic but at that point I had no desire to wait for an additional 30 min for a replacement. Friendly staff, kitchen may have just been having an off night which was sucks as the restaurant week menu is what brought us in.

Great speakeasy bar with amazing cocktails.
Alex was my bartender for the evening and made some great complex cocktails and spoke in detail on the ingredients and processes they use.

Smokes salmon was my main dish was delicious , But the she crab soup was too thick and pasty. They temp to redo which was very nice, But it was still too thick but better!
My significant other and I have been here many times. It’s one of our favorite restaurants in Suffolk, it is on the pricier side it’s good for special occasions or once in a while visits. The staff are very knowledgeable about the menu, efficient and polite. The food is very delicious, fresh and they offer quite a bit of everything, I’m sure if you’re a picky eater you’ll find something you’ll enjoy. Definitely recommend!!

Didn't stay long enough to try the menu. We were excited to give them a try. Nice decor and got seated immediately as it wasn't a busy night. Ordered our sparkling water to get us started.
We then ordered a cup of tea and our experience went downhill from there. The tea came out, no cream or sugar. We asked for honey and cream, not once, not twice but three times. The last time with the manager present, who had nothing but a dismissive "it will get out to you soon."
Worst service that we've had in a long time. Needless to say that we won't be back.

We visited the "tonic" side for drinks with friends after dinner. Bartenders were super friendly and quick to take/fill orders. There is also a speakeasy there, although we did not try it this time. Did not eat here, maybe next time.
Parking: Both restaurants in the building stay busy so parking is typically a little busy. Couple that with loft parking and it gets tough at times.
