This place is delicious!! They had amazing food I would recommend it to just about any body!
Really enjoyed eating here! The rockerfeller oysters were amazing! The ribeye was perfectly made and the mushroom sauce is to die for! The rigatoni was also amazing! Really enjoyed this place!

So I decided to have a late lunch at Harper’s table today and I’ve only heard great things about it. It’s downtown so parking nearby is always impossible but once you enter the restaurant inside is a noir vibe. I was greeted by two very nice young ladies. I ordered food to go so I didn’t experience a dine in service, however the customer service I did experience was outstanding. I ordered fried shrimp which was 2.25 each and I ordered the catfish and chips and a side of fried okra. Everything looked great upon opening the containers the okra was fried well but were a little too salty, the fried shrimp were fishy… very disappointing and the catfish and chips were good but I had a half a filet of fish on a bed of soggy and greasy fries which was 22 bucks for a lunch portion. Overall I was very disappointed…. What I paid for was not what I received. It’s unfortunate.

Thank you, Harper's Table, for a lovely brunch-date out with hubby...
We really enjoyed dining out in your beautiful fine dining restaurant.
We rated your establishment 5-Stars because it's known as one of the top 10 eateries specializing in healthy choices of farm-to-table foods, meats, veggies, and tasty homemade dessert cocktails, as well...
Also, it is located in the heart of Suffolk's small business shops of hometown charm.
Rich in a historic famous peanut was founded by George Washington Carver, who not only helped farmers around the nation but remained a sustainable food source til this day... 🥜

From the minute my adult daughter and I stepped into the restaurant we felt immediately at home. It was a wonderful meal and experience. Our server Hannah C. was the best. We also noted that everyone worked so well together.
We are traveling and doubt we will return to the area but we are still talking about our small meals...so delish. Thanks for a great experience.

I stopped here with my family while on a road a few weeks ago. We stayed here for over 1 hour enjoying the apps and lovely beer selection. This place is so elegant! I regret not getting a cocktail! The bartender and waitresses were so classy and professional. I can’t wait to come back someday because the pork belly is epic! ❤️🤩🥰😎

What a wonderful place! The food, drinks, and our server were on point. I believe the server’s name was Brandon and was fantastic! This was our first time dining here and we will be back for sure. We even brought two small children and they loved their food.

Mixed feels. Most important, i enjoyed my entre and service was good but didnt like the app. .The sauce on the fried oysters was sour, not good, really didnt like that they put the oysters on the sauce but the oysters themself were good. The stuffed quail was good, i really liked how it was cooked and seasoned leaving it tender and juicey.
Aesthetically, well decorated and cozy, informally formal.
The bad, uncomfortable chairs that woble, tried multiple chairs and all the same bad design. I dont want to feel like im sitting on a park bench at an expensive restaraunt. All the tables around us got bread to their table, so dont know if we needed to order it but didnt see it on the menu, maybe our server forgot. No mens bathroom, They had a womens and gender nuetral. Last thing that is probably not an issue to some but rather irks me, if you are charging $65 for steak and craft cocktails then Id expect not to be served a canned soda. Spring for the fountain machine, canned it is not the same taste and freshness.
Overall, liked it, didnt love it. I can see what some folks rant about but based on the menu options, not the spot for me.

We stumbled across this gem of a farm to table restaurant after dropping off our son at ODU. Wonderful food, highly recommend the oysters and any seasonal dish on the menu. Staff were amazing and attentive. In addition to a terrific atmosphere!
