Everything was so good! Our waitress was attentive and very nice. And the food was absolutely delicious! Both my husband and I had the Carbonara and he said he had the best old fashion he’s ever tasted here. Couldn’t recommend more!

Made reservations. Food was very good. Fried oysters was light and fluffy, and they were also seasoned well. Flounder dish was amazing with nice presentation. The ribs weres ok. The stone grits was good as well. Appetizers came out quick. Main dishes took a while to come out, but I'm pretty sure they are made to order, which is a good thing. I definitely would return to this restaurant whenever I'm in suffolk.

Compared to a lot of other restaurants in Suffolk, this place is a breath of fresh air. Not only was our server Brandon one of the best servers I've ever had, but the food was amazing! We started off with a bottle of Malbec from Argentina, then placed our food orders. We ordered the Pork Belly Biscuit, my wife got the burger, and I had shrimp and grits. The biscuit was pretty darn delicious with thick pork belly and house-made strawberry jam. The wait for the food was a tad long, but worth it once we got it.
Now, I haven't had grits in over 20 years, and boy have I been missing out. Everything about that dish was perfection. The shrimp was cooked properly (which is super easy to mess up) and their house-made andouille sausage was delicious. My wife's burger was undercooked, though. However, Brandon remedied that very quickly, and within about 5 minutes, she had a new burger cooked to her liking. It was a very good burger, well-seasoned, and the fries with mayo are also house-made. They also brought out this moist yet firm delectable cornbread. For dessert, we got the s'mores tart, which I'm not a fan of at the best of times, but oh man, we crushed it! All in all, this is the best dining experience we've had in Suffolk by far, and we will be returning.
A couple of side notes:
For my shrimp and grits, I had already dug in, so the picture does not reflect how they came out, but it still looks pretty darn good! I was hungry, couldn't help it. We didn't get a photo of the tart; we destroyed it.
Also, mostly everything they make is in-house, which is super impressive and shows exactly the commitment they have to serving great quality food.

A beautiful gem nestled in downtown Suffolk! Perfect for an upscale evening without feeling pretentious - exposed beams & brick, cozy secluded seating, and warm discrete lighting. Excellent gourmet dishes no matter which one you order! Shrimp & grits with real corn bread served with cold authentic butter. The summer casserole arrives in a medium ramekin, topped with crunchy buttered crumbs. Strawberry crumble is served sizzling in square cast iron skillets. Everyone on the staff is so friendly & listens carefully for what you like. Thank you for a delightful evening!

We had an amazing experience at Harper’s Table. We had a group of 24 people for a special event and we worked with their General Manager to set everything up. She worked with our budget and designed a personalized menu just for our event. We had a fixed price with appetizer, salad, 3 entrée choices, and 2 dessert choices, even including gluten-free options for all. We used their private room, which was perfectly suited for the size of our group. We all felt like VIPs in an intimate private dining environment. There were fresh flowers on the table, champagne flutes, personalized menus (with the name of our group printed at the top) and tasteful music. The service was amazing. Several members of our party said that they have never had their drinks refilled that quickly at a restaurant. The servers brought out new utensils for every course of the meal and were attentive to our every need. The food was served right on time and all 24 people received their entrees within a minute or two of each other. The food was amazing! 5-stars!!! Everyone commented on the presentation on the plates and even more on the taste. The bone-in pork chops were the most flavorful and tender that anyone had ever eaten at a restaurant. The rock fish was tasty and the Brussel sprouts were cooked to crisp perfection. The dessert options were amazing and HUGE portions. The apple crumble with ice cream and caramel was delicious. The Pot de Crème was silky smooth, rich, delicious, and beautifully presented.Everyone at our dinner who had not eaten at Harper’s Table before said they would be back for date nights and dinners in the future. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience working with the staff to set it up and having a great meal and atmosphere!

We had not been to Harpers Table in a number of years. Had an out of town guest and chose to take her there because I was sure the food was still good. Reservation was for 5 and we walked into the doors at 5 and was met with the strong stench of pot! Ruined the evening for me and my guest but the food and service was great.

Attention Suffolk residents this is a jewel—eat at home. Management has changed for the better. The food, the service and even the atmosphere were ten times better. The drinks were curated with that fresh Harper Table touch, the music was perfect for a Saturday night dinner, and well the food was fresh and good. Harper’s Table deserves 10 stars, keep up the good growth!

Excellent restaurant. We went to celebrate a birthday and they were very, very considerate with allergy considerations - even calling ahead of time to make sure the options given are acceptable. They even prepared a dessert separately!
