I truly can’t say enough about Kusina. From the moment you walk in, you’re wrapped in the warmth of Filipino hospitality. The food is authentic, flavorful, and made with so much heart, it tastes just like Lola made it. The atmosphere beautifully reflects our culture, and you can feel the love and pride in every detail.

Lovely little restaurant that offers such rich flavor at great prices. The food is authentic and delicious. I highly recommend the pork bbq skewers and any of the lumpia that they fry, fresh. Check their social media for their rotating offerings. I highly recommend the crispy pork belly, it’s juicy and so filling. If you get adobo, I recommend putting the broth over the rice! It’s become a weekly tradition.

We are from the DC metro area. Been coming to VA Beach to eat Filipino food and for other interests. We travel as far as New Jersey, FL just to have good Flip food. My partner grew up in LA and San Fran where choices of Flip restos are abundant and many are simply delish. I have had my share of experiences of similar.

While on a business trip in Suffolk VA we decided to try Kusina. To say that their food is very good is an under statement. I am a bit picky with what I eat but boy, boy, boy...Kusina had my partner and I ate like we've been starving for days.

Service was outstanding and very friendly yet professional. Place was very clean especially compared to most, if not all, Filipino restos i have been both in the East and West coasts. Even the bathroom was very clean.

For sure we will be back in a couple days this week for other menus since they change regularly.

2nd time around is indeed sweet! I usually do not finish my rice and one entree but the pork steak (think bistek) was phenomenal. My hubby loved the dinuguan and menudo. The star of the visit was Daniel and his wife. Excellent customer service. I now have a new go to where the food is not out there sitting on the warmer and dry. Keep it up!

I stopped in for lumpia quite a often. They always fast courteous service. Hot food to order. They have a steam table with a nice selection of different Philippine dishes. The lumpia is delicious. Enjoy!
