Celebrated my birthday here. La Parrilla came highly recommended by family. Though I had a good time, the food and the service was just ok. After our party was seated, we had to be moved because they sat us at a table too small. After we ordered drinks, our waiter disappeared. About 30 mins passed and we had to send for him. I'm not impressed with anything except the decor. Service and food couldn't been better.

The food was good, the server was not on top of things, it took some time to place the order and pay the bill. Ordered a flight of margaritas which was great, the "La Parilla" fajitas were full of flavor! Chips were not fresh and the salsa tasted a bit off.

Everything was great, but next time I would like to get the private room that was requested without people in it. I reserved it for a business meeting only to find people already in the room eating.

Lately I have used carry out instead of dine in.
Last time, I picked up the to go bag, didn't check it, seemed like it always did size wise. Got home, no chips. Half hour trip one way to pick them up, no thank you.
This time, ordered fajitas, one order, the meat, peppers and onions were in a very small foil pan, not the same size they normally are at dinner. I suspect someone either didn't know better or wasn't paying attention and grabbed the luncheon serving pan. I give up.
$22.00 is too much for the lack of food this time and the inconvenience last time with the chips left out.
