Mason's Grill & Smokehouse

Got the brisket sandwich, all the barbecue sauces and food were awful. Everything just tasted off and old. 1st time here and will be our last time here. Hardly ate both our meals server didn't even ask if anything was wrong. Sorry we tried this place. Very disappointed.

My Wife and I stopped in on recommendations from
Friends. Boy did we make a mistake. It took 50 minutes to get a burger and tachos. Both dishes came out cold. The burger had no seasoning at all. I ordered the burger with pepper jack cheese, it came out with American. The waitress, Jayme was not busy and we noticed several other tables having to wait for service and refills on drinks. Apparently they assume you will be paying with a card and add a 3.25 fee to the ticket. They claim they will take it off when paying in cash. I paid cash and still didn’t get the correct change back. And for the haters, yes I left a tip even though the service didn’t warrant one.

Food is good and fairly priced, but the service is consistently very slow. They need to hire more servers. Every waitress is running around as fast as they can but the demand is too high for such a small staff.

The atmosphere was good but the food was ok. I only got vegetable side items and they were ok but not great. The servers were friendly and attentive.

Best brisket I’ve ever had. It would honestly be an insult to the meat to put sauce on it! It’s THAT GOOD. Collards are savory with nice hunks of brisket in it and the slaw is delicious. Really nice staff as well.

It was not a busy night, but it took an hour to get food. The beef brisket came out cold. When it was sent back, they only stuck it in the microwave. My son waited for over an hour for a chicken sandwich. My husband enjoyed the wings.

My brother and husband were in the area for a funeral on Mon. We walked across from the hotel for a dinner after a 8 hr drive. This place was great. The service and food (Burger, Brisket, Fish Tacos) all amazing. As well as the local IPA on tap which hit the spot. Absolutely recommend to try it out if in the area.

Mandatory 18% service charge for curbside..

Food was delicious, however I had a sour taste in my mouth due to the 18% service charge. The charge is to check the order and walk it out to the vehicle, at least that was what was explained to me.

Our 1st visit and we were pleasantly surprised. Food was fresh, delicious and plentiful. I would love to give service a 5 but we had to wait a full 15 mins for last plate(meal) to be brought to table after everyone else had received their orders. Loved the atmosphere. Family friendly. Worth another visit.

I have been to Mason's several times but have never gotten the brisket. I ordered it this visit and was disappointed. The brisket was tough and dry. The service was great, though.

My wife and I stopped by the other day for lunch. We were amazed at the customer service and attentiveness. Veronica and Malachi were awesome at ensuring we had everything we needed to enjoy our time. The food was prepared fresh and tasted as great as it looked. A big plus for me was that everything was HOT! We will definitely be back because it is worth the drive for us. Bravo Zulu to the entire staff.
