My husband and I have been frequenting Metro diner in recent months, At least on a weekly basis for breakfast, we really enjoy the food. Tonight we decided to dine for dinner, our server was horrible ! She had such a terrible attitude and had zero customer service skills, not sure if she was having an off night or if that’s how she is all the time.

The radio/playlist was oppressively loud! So loud it was hard to concentrate enough to read the menu or have a conversation! The nice waitress turned down “one notch” but said the owner was there and wouldn’t let them turn it down any more…
If they develop a low volume/no volume area maybe we’ll return however, because the food was Excellent!!!
If you are used to (and can put up with) beating your head against the wall or vice-versa, drop by for a delicious meal…

Wonderful Service. Food delicious, hot and the Service was excellent. It was Sunday we had a 20 minute wait, however it was well worth the wait. I had the chicken and waffles. Cons: Floor was very slippery. I and another guest almost fell and I had a cane 🙃 It seemed as though it was mopped with a greasy mop. The entire floor was slippery. I left through the back door because I was frightened about falling.

This place is the bomb! First time eating here this morning an everything was 10/10! From the hostess to our amazing server peytan to our food. She was amazing, she told us to get the fried turkey dinner it was so good! My husband got a regular pancake sampler combo an he was pleased. We took home some of that homemade pumpkin bread pudding too, chefs kiss. Everything was perfect! Yall have all your surrounding competition beat by a landslide!

Wanted to post about a great customer service experience that I had two weeks back when ordering for Metro Diner. Not realizing there were two locations my app directed me to Suffolk when my order had actually been made in Chesapeake. After explaining the dilemma to the Suffolk manager he was kind enough to put a call in to the other location where they canceled my order and I was able to get a refund and pay for the order and Suffolk without an issue!!! TY for being a Human 🔥💯😀
