First time coming to Metro Diner. Food was delicious. I enjoyed the atmosphere. My waitress, Denise M., was very personable , friendly and provided GREAT customer service. I will definitely be returning.

We liked the Metro Diner so much we went for dinner on Friday night and Saturday morning when we checked out of the hotel. Friday night was their fried fish plate special. We both ordered the fish plate. The fish was not heavily battered and the fries were hit and crisp. My husband had the salad which unfortunately he had to go through because of some bad leaves of lettuce and I had the loaded potato soup which was thick and tasty for our starters. The next day we both ordered their classic breakfast of eggs, bacon, grits, toast and pancakes. If we travel in this area again, we will definitely come back. For both meals are servers were very nice.

The service was outstanding, but the food was sub-par. My avocado smash bowl was ok. The chicken and waffles my friend had was the issue. The chicken was fried too hard. My grits had big clumps in it

Waffle's and Chicken delicious I enjoy all their food. 2024 I had the fish and chip platter and when I tell you the fish was delicious and hot I've been back three times on Friday for their special. Delicious all the food is. Onions rings were on point also.Parking: Plenty of parking space

Ordered takeout last night and it was ready quickly, packaged nicely, and the food was still hot when it got home. The Friday fish dinner was a huge portion and the breading on the fish was light and crispy. Fries and slaw were delicious and the side salad was fresh. Huevos Rancheros appetizer was a big hit as a meal and was also a huge portion. We will remember this for a great take out option!
