The owners honed their restaurant skills while working in Chesapeake before opening Mi Casa Bella in Whaleyville. I visit when I am in the Suffolk area. Less than a ten-minute drive from downtown Suffolk -- you can't miss them!

Little gem in Whaleyville. Atmosphere was friendly and clean. Greeted when we walked in and seated immediately. Ordered and received everything quickly and accurately. Carnitas and fajitas were tasty. Got to chat with the owners while we waited for our order. Super friendly and showed they care about the service. We were regularly checked in on to make sure the food was good and drinks were topped off. We will be back!

Was pretty busy for a weekday. We wanted to try it out, as we live near by. We love mexican food and were surprised how good the beans and the food (steak&carnitas) was. Fried ice cream was good too. We’ll definitely come back, it’s an excellent mexican. Gracias! Even if they could paint the walls inside, the ambiente was very simple and not very inviting. Simple.

Great little Mexican place! Food was delicious and service was friendly and kind. The waitress even gave our kids tootsie pops for dessert. Who doesn't like free tootsie pops. Can't wait to eat there again.
