River Stone ChophouseLast year, I chose Riverstone Chop House to host my 7-figure dinner, and the experience was nothing short of phenomenal. The hospitality, networking opportunities, and exquisite food made it a memorable event for all 14 of us. Our hostess went above and beyond, even providing a presentation on different types of steaks.However, my recent visit to Riverstone Chop House was disappointing and disheartening. Despite my high expectations based on my previous experience, the service fell far short. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a waiter who displayed rudeness and a lack of hospitality. We were seated in the bar area, where the atmosphere was not conducive to our gathering.Throughout the evening, the waiter's demeanor remained unpleasant, and her treatment of us bordered on discriminatory. She questioned our party and repeatedly disrupted our evening with unnecessary inquiries. This behavior culminated in an unreasonable demand for payment for guests who were delayed, forcing us to relinquish our table and disappoint those on their way.Even the food, which we had looked forward to, failed to meet expectations. The crab cakes, touted as a highlight, tasted more like tuna, and when I inquired about the crab used, I was met with indifference and avoidance.Despite our efforts to salvage the evening, it was clear that we were not welcome guests at Riverstone Chop House. While the manager attempted to rectify the situation, the underlying discomfort lingered, and we left feeling embarrassed and unwelcome.In light of this experience, I can no longer support this establishment. I hope this review serves as a cautionary tale for others considering dining here. While my previous visit was outstanding, the treatment we received this time warrants a rating of 3 out of 10.

Wife and I were celebrating our anniversary so we went on a Thrusday evening... made a reservation which was upheld and were promptly seated. Dinner was exceptional... again it was a weekday and not too busy. Our waiter was quick and attentive. The ambiance was awesome with the lights dim and soft music in the background. Second time here and they are batting 1.000

Went here for a birthday party, my calamari was horrible very chewy had no crispness to it, kids hamburger where burnt and black to the point they wouldn’t eat them. Ordered the surf and turf steak MR, half of it was cooked MR the other half was MW. My sisters berry drink which was described as being fruity and sweet was very tart and bitter. When we get the check they not only have multiple taxes they have a surcharge for credit cards. But the really strange thing is that the sub total before running the card was less than after plus the charge. So make sure you look at your bill! Needless to say we won’t be back especially since there are plenty of fine dining chophouses that actually know what they are doing.

First time for my husband and I, all I have to say it was a wonderful experience. Nicole, our server was beyond kind and helpful. She recommended great options for wine and steaks combinations and ended having a great night! Would love to come again with friends!

Nicole B was amazing. She made me feel very welcome & not out of place. My husband died last year & tonight was the 1st time I have felt alive enough to leave the house. Her attentive service, extensive knowledge of the menu & wine list as well as cheerful character made me feel welcome. She will be remembered & I am truly grateful for this experience. The atmosphere was peaceful & the food was even better.

So we finally got to River Stone. And it was AWSOME. The ambiance was romantic yet family oriented. And the food, was delicious and the presentation was pure art. But to top it all off our server, Nicole, impressed us with her knowledge of the menu items and her knowledgeable of each steak was/is super impressive. She is a keeper , do what is necessary to make her happy. We will be back.
