Check your take out orders before leaving. Husband and I got brunch. We picked up, got home, and the order was completely wrong. We weren’t too mad about it, because even though we were given the wrong order we should have checked. We tried to call ahead of time to tell them we were on the way back. Well that didn’t go well…phone was off to the business and it went straight to a full voicemail. Still not super mad about it. We go back to the restaurant and tell them we got the wrong order and hand it over and the person goes “oh yea we were waiting for you to come back.” So you had our phone number and realized you gave us the wrong order and decided to not call and give us a heads up? Thanks? We then saw her take our order back to cooks to reheat after it had been sitting there for over 45 mins while we went home and came back to return the wrong order we were given. We wanted a refund after that and were told “we don’t know how to refund orders through door dash.” Too bad. Figure it out. So they did. Honestly, we’ve gone there for years and dealt with subpar service because of the food. Actually, the food has gotten worse over the years to be honest, so just gonna stop going. I’m a bit shocked the place is still open but as far as restaurant/brunch choices there isn’t too much available, so they got that going for them. We ended up going to the newer Cuban restaurant near us. Food was great there, so I guess it all worked out.

When I asked the lady to remake my meal because the eggs were hard and the grits look like it had old cheese on it and I didnt even order cheese grits she was really mean, The lady asked me to scrape the eggs in another plate as if I worked here.. I explained to her if I am dining in I shouldn't have to do that... She got nasty with me so I just asked to take the whole plate..

I've been coming here the past months for their breakfast. Omgosh, I'm so hooked! My mother in love had chicken and waffles and the chicken was seasoned so well. My husband has had omelettes and breakfast burger which he really enjoyed. And I have stuck to the Turnip plate - eggs, a side, a bread, and bacon or sausage. I LOVE that they have turkey bacon. And the grits are delicious. Everything is so yummy! Get there early!

My family had 4 diff meals, shrimp n grits, reuben, omelet, and fried chicken on top of bread and all were very good with large portions!!! One of our fav places and worth the trip from Chesapeake :)

I am a regular customer and yesterday i ordered the chicken pot pie (which was AMAZING!!!!) also ordered piece of red velvet cake and I was disappointed :( the piece was super small (compared to big yummy pieces you usually sell) and dry as hell. I don’t know what changed with cakes but it’s not good.

Great place for brunch and drinks. Food was delicious green beans and swai fish not what i expected and green beans were not hot. But everything else was A+ the server/bartender A1 great customer service very attentive. Will definitely return

Tonight was the first time my wife and I came here. It was delicious! The portions were larger than we expected so we regretted getting an appetizer but it was totally worth it. Our server was Jakeela or Keela. I didn't catch it so if she sees this and I'm way off I do apologize. Anyway my wife and I will be back for sure.
