4 adults, 2 young ladies. Service was great. Food delicious. We started with a pickle board. Excellent! Then each of us ordered a different meal except for the youngest one who "shared". We will definitely return. Maybe next time we will order the dessert platter.Dietary restrictions: One member of the party needs gluten free and this was available.Kid-friendliness: The waitress was very nice to the two young girls and treated them with respect.

Food was lukewarm, not busy, so food should hv been hot. A very large portions can be overwhelming but the flavor missed the mark was bland. But the sweet tea was good and so was the waitress.

We had Poutine for an appetizer - phenomenal! My husband had the 12 oz. New York Strip, mashed potatoes & gravy, and white cheddar mac & cheese - he enjoyed it.I had the Beef Bourguignon, it was fantastic. The servings are massive and the food delicious. I only wish we had eaten here sooner! Our waitress was on the money; our glasses stayed full without having to ask for a refill. Definitely plan on going back.

The Mod Olive, formerly the Plaid Turnip, has been one of my "go to" locations for breakfast and lunch. The food is usually amazing, the prices are great, and the portions are huge, My country fried steak was a little too salty for my taste, but everything else was great! The service is always friendly and accommodating, and the 70s decor is relaxing and quaint. I really wish they would bring back the fried pickles though. ?

My first time with our family everyone suggested the chicken and waffles along with side of scrambled eggs and side cobbler style seasoned peaches. And it didn't disappointed at all. Portions are very large needed to go boxes. Will recommend to others.

Perfect drinks, the people working were friendly and it was a nice place to sit for a late lunch.

Big portions, great food and they play episodes of Gillian's Island on the tv. I love everything about this place. The rubenesque is awesome. Also try the burgers or any of the entrees. Leave room for dessert.

The food here is amazing. I will say if you're coming for Sunday brunch like I did, please make a reservation or be prepared to wait. I didn't have a reservation, but the wait was well worth it. Everything was hot and fresh and seasoned to perfection. Let not forget the mimosas! They were delicious.
