Tropical Smoothie Cafe

Every time I order a smoothie for takeout here they never include a straw. Its ridiculous. It’s like ordering a soup from Panera and there not being a spoon. It seems like a silly issue but I think it needs to be called out. Smoothies should include straws!

The smoothie was good. The tip jar is a joke. You buy a drink. Get the drink. Nothing deserves tipping.

Order strawberry chia banana boost with sugar and was given peanut chia banana instead. Order was delivered and drink tops was not sealed and food packaging was open. I will not do delivery again.

Another Children Of The Corn establishment. When I called to tell them my order was wrong, no apologies. Young lady said it must have been busy. Only one other person waiting on an order when I arrived. Gee wiz!!!

Terrible service workers seem upset

Terrible service! I ordered a turkey bacon on a flat bread and received a ciabatta bread instead. Additionally, I purchased 2 bottled waters and was told later that they had none in stock. When I asked for a refund, the employee caught an attitude. The water was overflowing out of the cup. When they handed it to me, it spilled on the counter. The employee then began repeatedly yelling at me in front of the whole place to clean it up. Interesting, because there are no napkins available to the public! We only received 1 napkin for 2 people's meals. My wife ordered a kale slaw but wasn't given a fork. No utensils are available to the public. The staff act as if you're bothering them by requesting what you need. Meanwhile, other staff could be seen eating their food, which is very unprofessional. No apologies what so ever were given, despite the inhospitable environment. I actually met the owners years ago, and this message is for them. As a business owner myself, this kind of staff will ruin your business and drive customers away. I was so disturbed by this experience, I threw out my sandwich. I didn't trust that it was safe to eat.

Went inside waited about ten minutes to be served. Store was completely empty, no customers, no line just me. Indian lady was in the back the whole time walking back and forth as if I wasn’t waiting to be served. Seen me a few times and didn’t even acknowledge my presence. Eventually I just left. Horrible customer service, zero stars if I could. Won’t be back ! 7/29/25 9:30 am

The first time I went to this location they used a mango that was going bad. I thought mistakes happen, maybe the kitchen was overwhelmed, oh well. The second time I went one morning with my boyfriend and our food and smoothies were great. Everything was fresh and cooked properly. Everything was perfect. The third time I went they served me and my sister the most disgusting overly sweet drinks and the most mediocre food ever. Her smoothie wasn’t even blended all of the way. Every time I go, the place is clean, but all of the staff, at least in the front, seem to be in a bad mood or very stressed. I’m not sure if it’s the night staff or what, but if you hate your job that much, keep looking for a job you’re passionate about that doesn’t overwhelm you. It’s just a smoothie shop.

The absolute worst, to be in a neighborhood like this.

Unfortunately, my experience here didn’t meet expectations. The smoothies tasted off, lacked flavor, and didn’t seem to be made properly. Service was also quite slow. While a few staff members were friendly, the overall quality just wasn’t there compared to other Tropical Smoothie locations. I’d recommend trying a different spot if you’re looking for better consistency, atmosphere, and taste.
