I can't speak to the food because we could not find the restaurant. After going around the block multiple times, the GPS finally found the back of the restaurant. Apparently it is located inside the cultural arts center. There is no signage and while you can see the restaurant from a window it is unclear what door to use or how to get to it.

Excellent food. Had the very delicious pastrami with a savory pesto. This will certainly be part of my lunch rotation.

My mom wanted a good chicken salad sandwich. I thought about Turnip Sprout since we hadn’t tried it out yet, so we went there for lunch. The waitress was friendly and hospitable. My mom enjoyed her sandwich and her lobster crab bisque, and I enjoyed my Pesto Chicken Sandwich and a side salad. The tea had the right balance of sweetness and earthiness. The dessert was phenomenal. Try the maple butter bundt cake if you have a sweet tooth. We’ll be back to this restaurant soon!

The Asian salad is soooo good! The ginger is just perfect - flavorful without being overpowering! Great interesting food with a new twist, all served up in trendy downtown Suffolk.

I've been here multiple times and it's always so good. I try to get something new every time, but that lobster bisque is so good that I just can't give it up.It's under the same ownership as their sister resturaunt, the Mod Olive/The Plaid Turnip, and you can tell! Their portions are absolutely giant. I can always count on leftovers.Service is top notch and efficient! Definitely a great place to go for a quick bite to eat OR relax and take your time.

Words cannot describe how great of an experience I had at Turnip Sprout! The environment was very pleasant and welcoming, the food was AWESOME!!!, and the overall service was the best that I’ve experienced in a very long time! I’m bringing friends and family next time because this is The spot for good food, good vibes, and an overall welcoming experience. Kathy was sooooooo awesome in providing service and making sure my needs were met! Thank you Kathy! And I’m truly grateful to have visited such an amazing restaurant👍👍👍👍👍😁

Turnip Sprout is under the same ownership as the Plaid Turnip. It my first time eating there & it was wonderful. The hot Spicy Pastrami sandwich was perfect. I chose the sourdough but there are many other bread choices. It was a very thick sandwich with cheese, spicy mustard, pickle & onion. I love savory & this was definitely savory. I ordered the steak fries but also tried the hand cut chips which were wonderful. I would definitely order it again. It was $11 so a great price for the portion for sure.

Kid-friendliness: Great atmosphere for kids.

Absolutely DELICIOUS! I got the honey cashew chicken salad crossaint sandwich with steak fries. I got some garlic aioli to go with fries which was delicious as well! Got some strawberry Margaritas too! Will definitely be coming back here to try out their other sandwiches ?

The service was great and the food was delicious. Very generous portions and serve at the right temperature. I got the salad that I had choices as to what was in the salad. The sandwiches were piled high and very flavorful. There were 7 people in our party and everyone agreed that we would definitely come back!
