This was the college drive location in Suffolk VA. This was the worst experience of my life. We waited over an hour for Luke warm food, hard pancakes , wilted lettuce , fruit that was far from fresh ,scrambled eggs half cooked , cheese not melted, burnt sausage links, a strawberry crepe that has a bell pepper in it. A complete waste of time and money. Save your money and go to IHOP. Not one waitress apologized for the inconvenience and I only saw 3 people working. Tables were empty- which is why I’m boggled as to why we had to wait so long. First and last time there.

I visited earlier this morning Sept 1, 25 and I was sooo disappointed. The food has never been great during either of my previous visits. But today the service and food were so bad that I won't be back. It was around 9:30 and it wasn't busy at all. I sat down while waiting for my friend and the waitress asked if I wanted something while I waited . I ordered coffee and a glass of water. My friend was at least 10 minutes out and I didn't receive my coffee or water before then. When the waitress returned we both ordered our drinks me again water and coffee. The waitress brought tea for my friend and my coffee. No water in sight. We ordered and I again asked for my glass of water with our order of food. I finally got my water with no straw ok no biggie I figured I would see her at some point before our food arrived. That didn't happen she was so fixated on some other table that we could never get her attention. I finally flagged down another server. When I got my French toast it was not dark enough and yes before you ask I gave the server an example of what I wanted the French toast to look like. Of course when I received it it was no where close to what I asked for and I relayed this to the server. She said ok and walked away. Typically food is taking away that is not wanted and even if for health reasons they throw it away and start a new batch this info is relayed to the customer. We waited and waited and waited and finally I just started to try and work with what I had. She eventually comes back and says that I put in another ticket and I told her that she took so long and said nothing when she left I started to try and eat what I had. My friend's skillet was not good either. It looked like it had just been thrown together. The server would disappear for such long periods of time or be fixated on that one table which by the way only had 2 people. Once that table left I figured things would get better NOT. I wanted to place a to go order. I finally placed and received my to go order which were two BLTs. I figured you can't go wrong with some basic as a BLT. The server brought the check on the hand held device. My friend paid and then when I pulled out my card to pay my check the server informs me oh I have to have them remove the ticket for the second order of French toast. I thought that was odd because the first order wasn't right so why you put in a totally new order. She disappears again and when she returns she just hands me the hand held with the total. I told her I want to see the itemized check. She seemed confused when I asked but took the hand held back and proceeded to pull up the detailed check. Once I paid I requested a printed receipt. I am usually a pretty good tipper and will usually start out at 18 percent. Needless to say her tip was no where near 15 percent or even 15 percent. My friend and I were also thinking about ordering pie to go but as we were walking out we took a look at the pies that were in the case near the entrance and the pies that we saw looked horrible. P.S. I have added a picture of the lettuce that was on one of the BLTs. Whoever placed that lettuce on the sandwich should be ashamed of themselves. I doubt very seriously if they would want something like this to eat.

I was really looking forward to visiting this restaurant again, especially since I have fond memories of how lively and well-run it used to be. Sadly, this visit fell short of expectations.
The cleanliness of the space left much to be desired, and we were seated directly next to the kitchen, where we could clearly hear staff using profanity and racial slurs. It was incredibly off-putting and created an uncomfortable dining atmosphere.
As for the food: the pancakes and hash browns were actually quite good, but my omelet was dry and lacked flavor.
It’s disappointing to see how much things have changed over time. I genuinely hope the restaurant can return to the standard it once upheld.

This is a hidden gem of a restaurant. The food is always good and the service is excellent. The dining area and bathrooms are clean.
Prices are great plus they offer a good rewards program.
During our last visit, I got fish and chips and Judy got a chicken sandwich. It was good and more than we could eat.

Ordered via delivery company. Food is decent, they forgot to give me the strawberries syrup for the crepe. However, they did appear to give me ALL of their other condiments.

Flies all over the place. I asked for a sweet tea, got water. Companion asked for water with lemon. Never got it. Hash browns were burned. Eggs were burned. Charged for cheese on omelets that said they came with cheese on the menu. Toast was edible.
