We had reservations and our table was ready when we arrived. Our waitress was fantastic and the food was delicious. we will definitely return soon.

Absolutely amazing experience for a first date. Timeliness of the table being ready before the reservation started. Wine selection is top shelf. The pimento cheese appetizer was amazing. Elk chops were cooked to perfection and the Bison Ribeye was off the charts. The chefs are definitely at the top of their game. Service, Elizabeth W. was our server for the evening and she was incredible. Attentive yet not interruptive of conversation and treated us like we were her only table. Can with all assurance say that this will be a go to from now on.

Along with another couple we went to Vintage Tavern for dinner. Our service was very good and all of us enjoyed our meals. We have enjoyed dinning at the Vintage Tavern for several years.

My grandparents are visiting and today was my grandmother's 78th birthday. When I booked I had added that in the notes and when we showed up they had wished her a happy birthday on our menu! It was such a sweet personal touch that really made her feel special. They also wrapped a menu up in ribbon for her to take home. The food and drinks were great as always. Wonderful service from Liz!

I was highly disappointed. For a fine dining experience the entire meal was a flop. We ordered the Cheese Plate, Lobster Risotto, Elk Chops and Swordfish. Starting with the cheese plate (or charcuterie) it was wonderfully aged meat and cheese delicious, the lobster and risotto were very bland… the truffle mushroom and lobster were the stars of the dish, but the risotto not flavorful at all. We waited an HOUR after appetizers for our food. They wanted to ensure that there was no nuts around the preparation of our food for allergy purposes, but the wait was crazy long. Watching others, who arrived after us, receive their plates while we waited was highly disappointing. The Server we had was also the best part of the experience, very attentive and listened well. The Manager no matter how apologetic he was for the wait did not communicate that we would be waiting for our food to be re-prepared until after, we had waited for so very long. The best thing on my plate of swordfish was my carrots, everything else was very under seasoned, and the fish its self overcooked. Highly disappointed because we traveled so far for a lovely date night, just for it to be tarnished in a flash. We will not be patrons at this establishment ever again.

I wasn't impressed with the mashed potatoes. They looked and tasted instant. The waitress would come and ask us questions while looking at her watch while we talked to her and the atmosphere was cozy, but lighting could have been a little bit more.

Cannot say enough good things about this restaurant. Long time favorite, They have a simple and classy menu with some seasonal treats. Their Elk chops, pimento cheese, and tenderloin are EXCELLENT as is the rest of the menu. Check it out.

We arrived early for our reservation but were seated immediately. There were only 3-4 tables occupied and we were given a table by a window. The ambiance upon entering was impressive, but once we were seated in the dining room, it just seemed like a nicer diner basically. My wife and I were celebrating our anniversary, which we noted on our reservation, and our waiter was good enough to congratulate us. He was mostly attentive and took care of us well. The disappointment with our visit was the food. My wife had had a late lunch, so she just ordered a cup of chowder and the crab dip appetizer. I got the steak. The chowder was okay, but she could not have eaten a bowl of it. The crab dip wasn't fully mixed, there were clumps of cream cheese, and it was too salty for her to eat. I brought this up to the waiter, he apologized, and offered to have a fish dish prepared. So, while we waited on that, I ate my steak. The steak was well prepared and tasty, and nicely displayed on a bed of green beans and mashed potatoes. The potatoes, however, were either instant or very watery. I'm thinking if I'm paying $50 for a dish, it should be pretty spectacular. Eventually, my wife got her fish, and it was okay, but overall we were very disappointed with our experience and see no reason to return. We didn't order the most expensive things on the menu, drank water and our bill was over $100. We knew it was going to be expensive, but we expected the experience to be fabulous.

Our experience was fantastic! My husband had the Elk special and he throughly loved every bite. My friend and I both had the flounder, which both were cooked to perfection. The restaurant made a tasteful touch of adding my friend's birthday message to the menu, which completely made my friend's birthday super special. Thank you so much for doing that!

High end steak entrees are so small they wouldn’t feed a child. DONT COME HUNGRY

This was supposed to be a birthday celebration and I had really been looking forward to it after hearing how wonderful the establishment was meant to be. The menu online isn’t accurate - instead of citrus couscous with the pork chop, it’s roasted veggies (which I could make at home) with apple cider vinegar. My pork chop was so overcooked it was impossible to cut. The tartare was nice but the portions were off (huge scoop, six crusts - needed a minimum of ten). The server (when he could be found) never once asked us how our food was, and came across as a surly hipster who couldn’t care less about his job - evident in a few of his oddly aggressive comments from the moment he came to the table.
The place seemed rundown and in desperate need of upgrades - several chips in the table revealing the cheap vineer; the menus were printed from a desktop device that was obviously running out of ink - the “green” was part yellow; some threadbare napkins and upholstery - I’m just shocked they charge these prices for inedible food, shabby implements, and poor treatment. I won’t be returning.

My husband made reservations for us for dinner to celebrate our 15th wedding anniversary. We arrived about 15 mins before the reservations. We were seated immediately. After watching several waitress walk to floor, we realized we had been sitting for 10 minutes and no one had come to our table. We saw another table get seated and was promptly serviced. We figured maybe they just had a different waitress. After about 5 more minutes, a couple walked in and were seated right next to usand within minutes, they were having watered poured and was giving the waitress their drink order. After 20 minutes, we decided to just leave. As we were leaving, I told the hostess we were leaving because no one had come to our table. She said “Oh no, I’m sorry”. And that was it. My husband and I are an interracial couple. I tried to give the wait staff the benefit of the doubt but my gut told me we were not being served because of this. I have never come across this feeling when dining in a restaurant. I am just at a loss of words and this hurts my heart that this type of feeling even exists these days. And some may say they were just super busy and hadn’t had a chance to come (they weren’t from what I could see) but my gut tells me otherwise. Hopefully this establishment will read this review and educate their employees on how everyone should be treated equal.
