I recently visited Yama Sushi and was blown away by the quality and variety of their sushi. The Volcano Roll and Rainbow Rolls were fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. The clean and welcoming atmosphere added to the overall charm of the place. I highly recommend Yama Sushi to anyone looking for a top-notch sushi experience!

Entered the dining room wasn’t greeted by a host or anyone, wasn’t even acknowledged by the young man taking carry out orders. So I decided to take a seat in a booth and wait for a server. Finally after about five minutes or so, some child with a septum piercing came over and dropped off menus and with a snotty attitude told me “next time I could wait to be seated”. No signage or anything saying “please wait to be seated”, no greeting what so ever. Was it that big a deal that I sat down in your empty restaurant without being seated by the nonexistent host? Needless to say I took my money elsewhere. Do yourself a favor and drive two miles down the road to Nana or Sakura sushi. The staff at these two other establishments know the meaning of hospitality and have a well trained team.

The past three times I’ve eaten there I’ve gotten sick and had HORRIBLE cramps along with it. The people there and the service was great and the food tasted amazing but something about this sushi place always made me sick.
I just had teriyaki chicken, miso soup, spicy tuna roll, (6 pcs), spicy salmon (6 pcs) monster roll (6 pcs). Forgot to take a pic before mowing down. Thinking about getting more!

I absolutely love it here! I loved the decor and especially the food and the friendly service. I only commented on the food we had but, Ihave no doubt that whatever else we would have chosen would have been just as delicious.
Kid-friendliness: My 4 year old granddaughter had a meal of sweet potato fries and karakai and loved it.
My husband and I just moved back from Texas to Virginia. We were craving sushi and decided to stop by at the closest one near us. Walking into Yama, the atmosphere was so welcoming. We were immediately greeted by the hostess and it was just the best experience since then. From customer service to complimentary appetizers and dessert. Appetizers, sushi and dessert tasted absolutely delicious. Outstanding customer service! Definitely coming back! Thank you, Yama for this great experience!

We always do take out. Easy to order and customize. GREAT food. Many options. Courteous staff. Lovely inside atmosphere. Parking can be an issue, but rarely.
Parking: It's a small outlet center, so parking isn't abundant. If other stores are busy, it's an issue. But this is very rare. Often it is super easy to get a spot.
