A great port. I wish they were open on some weekday evenings.

Beautiful little place with amazing wines!Old farm house turned tasting room with some very nice outside seating options. They were super friendly and very knowledgeable about wine.

We had a wonderful time LAST FALL when our school alumni group had a gathering at Rogers Ford Winery. Lynne, their coordinator at the time, was terrific to deal. Sadly, she is no longer there. The current coordinator is not nearly as responsive. Small groups of us also visited Rogers Ford Winery on other separate occasions also. What we really enjoyed was the true country atmosphere...taking you back to a time when things were simple and happier. We were advised that our group could not be accommodated this year because Rogers Ford Winery is in the process of opening a Wine Bar in Fredericksburg. I am sad that they couldn't accommodate us for one day; requiring at the most one additional attendant at the bar. I think what Rodgers Ford Winery is missing, is that their off-the-beaten path country location is the draw; it's the diamond in the rough factor. A wine bar in downtown Fredericksburg is a dime a dozen. It's a shame. Fortunately, we were able to find another country winery to accommodate us this coming fall. I would rather see Rogers Ford concentrate on the gem that they have at their location in Summerduck.

Very disappointed to hear you won’t allow groups anymore to have events there. Last year this winery was so accommodating to allow our school group to have a get together. Now it’s taken many emails to your new coordinator to respond to us for another event and only to be told you are not doing anymore. Our group brought you a lot of revenue that day , it’s sad you’re to busy with other things to allow us to return , plus I’m a club member there !!

This is a small, but pretty nice winery. It's not an estate type winery, but the wines they have developed are very 'drinkable'. This place is on and old farm and their tasting area is inside of an old farmhouse. They had a total of 6 wines with 2 reds, 2 whites, and 1 rose. If you want something a bit dry then get the Chardonnay or Cabernet Franc and for a bit of sweetness go for the red blend or Rose. They don't have a kitchen here, but have no problem with you bringing your own munchies. They also have some indoor seating and an outstanding seating area. They also have a great.outdoor area for larger groups as shown by the SHS get.together.

Great folks, a great selection of tasty wines, a couple you won't find anywhere, a golden buttery colored one (Goldvein), a robust-sweet deep port (Snake Castle), you have to enjoy ports. The Chardonnay is best ever (Jacob Christopher), & their Petit Verdot (you have to like deeeep reds) is unbeatable. Very laid back casual feeling, bring a picnic lunch & stay all afternoon. Hitching posts, ride your horse here. Now serving amazing delicious sangria's by the glass!

My husband and I stopped in yesterday for the first time and were quite surprised with how quaint this winery was. They had a band, a food truck, corn hole boards, outside seating and inside seating as well, picnic tables set up in an old open sided barn and an outside wine serving table so you did not have to go inside for refills. They are open Friday- Sunday and to our surprise, all year long! They have a decent amount of wines from their own vineyard harvests and a small snack section. We will definitely be back to relax and enjoy another flight of their wines!!
