We stopped in by chance. It’s our 24th anniversary and wanted to try a new place. The wait staff was amazing! The food, I don’t have words. My husband has the short ribs and I had the seared tuna. It was absolutely perfect. 5 Star hands down! We ordered drinks, a crab appetizer (delicious) and the food was out in no time. Thank you for making our anniversary dinner a delicious one.

Where can I start. 1710 and Essex Inn came to our rescue hosting my Mother in Law's reception after her service as well as a private dinner at Essex Inn this past Saturday. although they were slammed Saturday night the service , food and attention toe every detail for the dinner was above expectations. Micky and TJ did a terrific job on the cocktails. Our waitress Ashley was on top of everything, The Filet was better than my previous fav Ruth's Chris, special was Swordfish... amazing. Desert apple cake is another level... what can I say, this is world class but near the Northern Neck of VA. Will be back ... with friends and family. Oh and the prices are very reasonable for fine dining.
