Locally owned and operated. Polite staff, decent food. There are not many places to eat in Tappahannock, if you want to change it up from NNK Burger- Rivahside Cafe is a great option. If you haven't been, you're missing out. Give Rivahside Cafe a try!
The man wasn't very friendly, not rude, just didn't seem to want to be there. The woman was friendly and loves children. The food was good. The restaurant is a walk up and order style place. There are no servers. The menu doesn't have a lot of options. It includes things like, burgers, tuna salad, ham and cheese, etc. Walking in, it smelled like old cigarette smoke.
