The ciders are full of flavor. The views are beautiful. This is our 2nd year going.

I really enjoyed this place and think it can work for kids and adults. The kids can have a blast picking apples while adults can have a great time relaxing and chatting it up. No matter what, this fits everyone. While there you have to try the cider and apple pumpkin donuts. So good.

Very friendly staff, amazing mountain views, and phenomenal apple cider donuts! We had a blast here and can’t wait to come again. (& there was a beautiful dog there too!)

Beautiful location! Ample seating outside for guests to enjoy ciders, donuts, or other items from the on site food truck. The apple cider donuts were fresh and delicious. The Off the Press Cider slushy was nice and refreshing! Apple picking was easy and very inexpensive!

Great peach and apple picking! The cider is also tasty. Clean restrooms. It's worth stopping at if you are in the area!

My sister and I visited the Cidery May 2024. So good. We are very picky on our ciders and liked most of them. We ended up purchasing 4 bottles. The ciders were crisp and clean. Tasting of apples, not carbonation. Well balanced. Bartender was very helpful. The tasting room was clean, nice, airy. The grounds were beautiful. Amazing views. Would definitely recommend.

My Sister and Brother in law were married at Showalter’s Orchard and Greenhouse. The Greenhouse has been renovated into a beautiful indoor venue. They had the ceremony outside in front of the orchard with an amazing view of the mountains. The reception was inside the greenhouse. It was very nice and elegant. A beautiful space to have a wedding or formal event.

We love everything about Showalter's Orchard & Greenhouse, Old Hill Cidery, Ava's Endeavors Coffee Truck, Farm Stay vacation rentals AND wedding venue! They have it all, but in a very authentic, non-commercial setting. This is a true working farm that welcomes visitors! We have visited for apples, cider and donuts; we have hosted our daughter's wedding here (beautiful setting!!); we have even stayed overnight in our camper (through Harvest Host) and woke up to the most amazing view of the sunrise over the mountains and Shenandoah Valley.SO PEACEFUL!

Beautiful apples & delicious cider

Awesome apple picking experience! Wonderful hosts both in the store and at the cider tasting room. Cider tastings were delicious, and Julie's accurate description of each cider was spot on!!!! Such beautiful mountain valley views, especially in the fall!!

The views! The apples! The farm! The drive! These good people have some AWESOME ciders, drinks, gift options, donuts, and of COURSE apples! Pro tip: buy a small bag to pick to get your picking experience, and buy some "seconds apples"-- they are dirt cheap and were so sweet and delicious! They have picnic tables here too if you want a pack a lunch and then pick, like we did. Bring your camera, it is beautiful here.

Great Local Family, Amazing Ciders made and brewed on site. Reasonable prices, outstanding views, and a wide variety of apples all throughout the season. They also support other local small businesses in the area. 5 stars isn't enough! Highly recommend!
