Beautiful winery with a wonderful selection. Red wine tasting was excellent and experience made even better with the help of staff. Andrew gave me suggestions and some history about Shenandoah County. Would highly recommend a visit and grabbing a bottle of wine.
Stopped by heading south on 81 for a break and was delighted that it was easy to get into with a travel trailer and parking . The wines were all very good . Our favorite was the Octoberfest white blend and petit Verdot . The staff was friendly and helpful.
Many quality wines with highly knowledgeable staff. The 2022 Chardonnay was our favorite, hands down. It didn't taste like a typical Chardonnay but then I'm not used to wines age in the "sur lie" style! I love that North Mountain's wines are all made wjth grapes that they grew themselves (estate wines), which is dadly something that so many Virginia wineries no longer do for all their wines.
