Merroir never disappoints! We LOVE and enjoyed the Old Salts oysters! And both soups, dinner special and the Po Boy sandwich!!! All delish!!! Great service! Nice ambience with the Christmas lights! We're looking forward to our next trip.
We visited Merrior as a group of four couples, and the experience was exceptional from start to finish. The freshly shucked Rappahannock oysters were outstanding—bright, briny, and perfectly prepared. We sampled a variety of dishes, all of which were delicious. The oyster muffin with its creamy sauce was wonderfully decadent, and the oyster po'boys were a definite crowd-pleaser. The red pepper soup with crab brought a spicy kick that we loved. This was a return visit after too many years. Weather permitted seating outside with an expansive view of the water.Service was excellent.\nOrderd lunch entrees and of course oysters. Meeroir arguably had the finest oysters in the area. \nGreat meals in a beautiful setting. Thankful for November weather allowing outside dining.
