This business is unreliable. We drove 45 minutes to meet up with friends that live an hour away, since Pig & Pie is almost in the middle. We checked the hours of operation in advance to make sure we could eat here. Both the website and the hours posted on the front door said it was open, but it wasn't. A local who also pulled up and noticed it was closed said that the place opens whenever it feels like it. Two car loads of people drove all that way for nothing, so we won't be going back.

Easily some of the best pizza I've ever had. We had the white pizza with garlic sauce and shrimp, and it was unbelievable! Soooo delicious and the crust was the perfect combo of crispy and chewy, exactly the way I like it! This place is a gem!

I have officially met the Queen and King of pizza! Place our first order at Pig & Pie this past weekend. While we did not get a pie, we got pizza and BBQ sandwiches. The flavor was amazing, and the cheese pull from the bite of pizza was like a jump rope. Yum, yum, YUM! That was all I heard from my kiddos. Will continue to visit the Pig & Pie for more pizza and BBQ for many years to come. Enjoy!

Flew into the small air strip, Hummel, with a couple friends and walked across the street not expecting the delight we got! The owner works the smoker and oven and the pulled pork sandwich with slaw was the best I've had in VA with awesome home made sauces (I tried the mustard SC and Hickory smoked VA) while the pizza was contender. Baja blast to chase it and the soft fat cookies like meemaw made em! Guy was so nice that he offered us some ribs and good golly miss molly they were falling off the bone with a different homemade BBQ! MUST TRY if you're in the area!
