I have officially met the Queen and King of pizza! Place our first order at Pig & Pie this past weekend. While we did not get a pie, we got pizza and BBQ sandwiches. The flavor was amazing, and the cheese pull from the bite of pizza was like a jump rope. Yum, yum, YUM! That was all I heard from my kiddos. Will continue to visit the Pig & Pie for more pizza and BBQ for many years to come. Enjoy!

Flew into the small air strip, Hummel, with a couple friends and walked across the street not expecting the delight we got! The owner works the smoker and oven and the pulled pork sandwich with slaw was the best I've had in VA with awesome home made sauces (I tried the mustard SC and Hickory smoked VA) while the pizza was contender. Baja blast to chase it and the soft fat cookies like meemaw made em! Guy was so nice that he offered us some ribs and good golly miss molly they were falling off the bone with a different homemade BBQ! MUST TRY if you're in the area!

We finally decided to try this pizza place and we were disappointed. Our pizza was burnt. It just wasn't good. Don't think we will be going back .
The slow cooked 18hr. Smoked BBQ is really good. Great owner operator location. Pick up some sandwiches to go or buy a pound to take Home. The pizza looks really great as well, different varieties available by the slice or a whole pie.

Talk about a friendly and delicious restaurant! The new owners are delightful and offer fresh, made on premises pizzas, bar-b-que (Carolina style, North and South plus Virginia), meatball subs and their best seller, banana pudding.
Wheelchair accessibility: I haven't tried to get a wheelchair in and out but can tell it would pose no difficulty.

Tried to call in an order and couldn't get through. Stopped on way home from vacation and wanted 2 pies. She said would take 30 minutes. Just couldn't wait since we still had 45 minutes to home after 7 hours in the car. When husband cancelled the order, she said this isn't fast food, you should have called ahead. We really loved the pizza the first trip there. We're sorry we couldn't take home this time. I am sure the little place is overwhelmed with the campground business. We will try again.

Stopped by today for Archie & Michelle BBQ and pizza. The ribs were moist and delicious with mac and cheese/Cole slaw. Pulled pork was juicy and had a great taste. Enjoyed some banana pudding and pineapple upside down cake. Great place and will be back. Thanks Michelle & Archie.
