I have officially met the Queen and King of pizza! Place our first order at Pig & Pie this past weekend. While we did not get a pie, we got pizza and BBQ sandwiches. The flavor was amazing, and the cheese pull from the bite of pizza was like a jump rope. Yum, yum, YUM! That was all I heard from my kiddos. Will continue to visit the Pig & Pie for more pizza and BBQ for many years to come. Enjoy!
Flew into the small air strip, Hummel, with a couple friends and walked across the street not expecting the delight we got! The owner works the smoker and oven and the pulled pork sandwich with slaw was the best I've had in VA with awesome home made sauces (I tried the mustard SC and Hickory smoked VA) while the pizza was contender. Baja blast to chase it and the soft fat cookies like meemaw made em! Guy was so nice that he offered us some ribs and good golly miss molly...
