4 miles outside of Zion Crossroad is the little community of Troy. There's not much there, so even with GPS it's easy to drive past Pa Pa Jim's as it's tucked down off the bend of the road. It's a simple, local ice cream stand with some outdoor seating. In addition to soft serve, hard served flavors and specialty ice creams, shakes, sundaes and Italian Ice are offered. Wow big portions. The Sunday was huge and the small cones I ordered for my girls were bigger than they could eat. The server was friendly and the ice cream was really good. The atmosphere could use some help. One of the benches has a broken seat, the grass is massively overgrown, and the outside could use some good cleaning. Ignoring the outside appeal, the ice cream is awesome.

This place was VERY good. A small, local ice cream joint with outdoor seating. There was some covered outdoor seating as well.
The portions were very large. I originally ordered a regular, but then saw the size and opted for a small. I’m glad I did! I left full lol.
