$15 for Turkish coffee is crazy. Should be no more than $3.50 per single, $7 max for a double.

East West Café at Tysons Corner truly lives up to its name. Its menu reflects Turkey’s unique position between East and West by offering a thoughtful mix of authentic Turkish dishes alongside Western-style sandwiches, salads, and burgers.

The atmosphere instantly evokes the feeling of an Istanbul café. The murals and warm décor create a space where dining feels relaxed, allowing you to enjoy good food and even better company. The staff is exceptionally attentive, often anticipating your needs before you even ask, which adds greatly to the overall experience.

The restaurant also provides a comfortable, designated area for hookah lovers. While I personally don’t enjoy the smell of hookah, it’s clear that they’ve made an effort to create a welcoming and safe space for those who do.

The food was genuinely impressive. The branzino was cooked to perfection—moist, flavorful, and paired with delicious vegetables. The Adana kebab was juicy and tender, served with bulgur pilaf (cracked wheat) and finely sliced raw onions with sumac. A particularly nostalgic touch was the complimentary nuts, apples, and oranges served alongside my friends’ wine—something I fondly remember from my days back in Turkiye.

Another major plus: East West Café is open until 2:00 AM, which is a rare and wonderful option in the Tysons area when most places are already closed. Their Turkish breakfast spread is generous and varied, and they also offer a wide range of lunch options.

Most importantly, we never felt rushed. My friends and I were able to truly enjoy our time, our conversations, and our meal at a relaxed pace.

Overall, it was a great dining experience

Truly one of the worst restaurant experiences I’ve had in recent years. The place was more like a kindergarten nursery than a restaurant. Filled with screaming kids. Neither parents nor restaurant staff seemed to care. What’s more we were treated to an expletive-filled shouting match between two other customers. Food was overpriced and service indifferent.

We ordered the Turkish breakfast for 2 and noticed that there were many missing items including orange juice, Nutella tahini, and it only has 4 pieces of bread. We asked for the items that were missing and they stated that what is included in the menu for this item is not correct. I told them this is false advertising and to speak to the manager and he didn’t show up. Scam and illegal practices. Def not worth mediocre food, never going back

I went to this place 3 times in the last year . The food & service is good but slightly overpriced. The most disappointing issue is the restaurant is starting charge for water which uncommon at any restaurant in the US . They used to serve tap water at no charge but I am not sure why they started charging for bottled water with $ 3 per bottle. The food prices can absorb this new added cost or they can still providing tap water at no charge .Also they started add 3% surcharge for the use of credit card !!!. I am wondering who is paying cash at a restaurant in this country !!!
I hope management will revise this new policy . I will not go again to a place that implemented wired price strategies!!!

We went there for breakfast and ordered the full single breakfast plate. First, it looked nothing like the picture and the portion was very small for $30. Several items listed on the menu were missing, and we had to repeatedly ask for them. The waitress acted as if we were doing something wrong by asking, which felt very unprofessional and rude.

We also had two separate dishes that were supposed to come with bread, but only one pack of bread was served. When we asked for the second, it was brought very late with a lot of attitude, and by then the omelet was already cold.

On top of that, the butter portion was ridiculously small (about the size of half an inch cube). When we asked for extra butter and agreed to pay for it, they never brought it. Finally, they included the tip themselves without giving us any receipt.

The biggest issue was the extremely unprofessional and rude service, plus the fact that the menu was misleading. Definitely not a good experience.
