We dined there last night, the food was good. Tables were full so we sat outside with our family. Our server was amazing! I would definitely go here again.

The staff was so nice and offered complementary warm pita and salad as we waited for our food. The sandwiches were fresh and delicious. At the end, we were treated with baklava which was uniquely delicious!

So, I stumbled upon Maman Joon Kitchen at Tyson's and l can say its a solid chicken spot Vegetarian Friendly: Sadly this spot is not a great place as a lot of the menu is meat heavy. They do have options but you should really eat here as there main attraction is meat Decor: The ambiance is inviting and chill. It's the kind of place where you can relax and enjoy your meal without feeling rushed. And the bonus is they have outside heaters that keep you warm if you want to sit outside. Food Highlights: The Chicken Kabob stole the show for me as it was very well marinated and they included bread and yogurt which was great! Portion Size: Portion sizes are pretty good here so you definitely won't leave hungry, and you might even have some leftovers to enjoy later. But I wish they included 1-2 pieces of chicken as there was a lot more rice to chicken. Price: Considering the quality and quantity of the food, I'd say the prices are reasonable especially for Tyson Area. And just wanted to say there service was really good and got the chance to met the owner Peter Tabibian who was very nice and welcoming! Would I go Back: So even though it's good if I am in the mood for Chicken and Rice I would rather go to DCG as it has more toppings. But for a kabob place it was pretty good!

This has become our go to place for kabobs. We typically get the chicken kabab or the steak kabob. Both are excellent. The pita bread is fresh, fluffy, and warm. The rice is well prepared and the salad is crisp and fresh. The only minor complaint is the hidden service charge on every order, for both eat-in or to-go orders.

My experience dining at Mama Joon for some Persian kabob was truly delightful. The kabobs were flavorful and cooked to perfection, providing a wonderful taste of authentic Persian cuisine. The ambiance of the restaurant was inviting and the service was top-notch. I highly recommend Mama Joon for anyone looking to experience delicious and traditional Persian dishes. A must-visit spot for food lovers!

I absolutely love maman joon and has become my go to place. The people are so friendly and kind, and the food tastes fantastic. The chicken kabob is always to die for and it's hard not to eat all the rice! So glad to have this gem in Tyson's!

It was my first to this establishment since it's opened at Tyson's corner. It is located on the ground floor near Macys. Ambiance is typical Persian food places. So I went to the counter to order, the older gentleman even though not busy ignored me and the other younger guy pointed me to another computer and I asked to go for the Combo-1 which is like chicken kabob and kubiedah. I asked for half portion of rice and half portion of salad. Food came out in a decent amount of time. This combo came out with bread, white and green sauce. I took a bite of bread in the car and it was not fresh at all, was cold. I opened the box once I got home and found out the portion for $25 meal was way too less. Now time to taste the food, rice were totally bland like not even a taste of butter or salt in it. Chicken kabobs were also bland but kobeidah may be have some tiny bit of flavor in it. Salad were like big rings of onions, bell pepper and tiny bit of cheese and olives as seen in the pic attached. Overall not so good experience and I'm not sure if I return for such mediocre food. I hope they make their portions size and taste better and also less attitude from the people taking orders, then I would think about coming back otherwise I don't even recommend it to anyone.

Maman Joon Kitchen is a delightful find inside Tyson Corner Mall, boasting a fantastic location that's easy to get to. The staff are welcoming and provide great service, which made my visit all the more pleasant. The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated with a bright and inviting ambiance, and its outdoor patio is a nice touch for those who enjoy dining al fresco. The menu offers a good variety of dishes, and overall, the food was enjoyable. However, I found the koobideh kabob a tad dry for my taste. Despite this, the quality of the rest of the meal was solid, and I appreciate the effort put into each dish. I'm looking forward to coming back to Maman Joon Kitchen to see if they've tweaked the koobideh kabob recipe. It's a place I'd recommend to anyone shopping or visiting the area and in search of a good meal in a pleasant setting. Hopefully, my next visit will be a perfect 5-star experience!

I got the koobideh kebab platter to go. The meat was still raw when I got home but I was hungry so I nuked it for 1 minute and it was good to go. Tasty - I hope I don't get sick-- will report back if I do! They were so busy- my order was done fast-- now I know why. The kebab probably needed about 5 more minutes on the grill. I will try again next time--

Maman Joon took over the Cava and it's in a corner that might be tough to find but it's near the Apple store. We got the combo to try with chicken, beef, and rice which was pretty pricey for the plate of food. And there was an odd random service and packaging charge on the receipt. The rice was pretty plain but buttery. They ran out of the green sauce so we only had the yogurt sauce. The chicken was fine texture wise but flavor was also plain. I know this is fast casual but there are many similar restaurants that have better food for the price, especially with Shamshiry around the corner.

Been here a few times, and the food is always consistent, I tell my friends they have some of the best chicken out of any of the Persian restaurants in Tyson’s. And there are a ton of Persian restaurants in the Tyson’s area, the chicken, the rice, the service, and quality at Maman Joon is what keeps me going back.
