A premium Matcha café with high-quality Matcha in it tasted very good. Would love to try different matcha’s here.

It takes a lot to get me to not like a hojicha latte because I LOVE hojicha. I asked for no ice and they packed it with ice. It kind of had no flavor.

I absolutely love this matcha spot! From the moment you walk up to the booth, the staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming. Makes the whole experience a pleasure.

Beyond the service, the drinks offer great value. The portion sizes are generous, especially compared to other matcha cafes I’ve visited, meaning you really feel like you’re getting your money's worth.

You must try the Banana Pudding Matcha Latte. It’s surprisingly balanced and creamy without being overly sweet. It has quickly become my go-to order. I hope it's not going anywhere! 😂

One crucial tip, though: if you order any of their fruity (strawberry, passionfruit, etc.) or floral lattes (like the rose or lavender), make sure you give it a good stir right before you take a sip! I've noticed that the syrups they use tend to sink to the bottom, and you don't want to miss out on that flavor. Mix it up with one of the stirring sticks by the front and you're golden!

Highly recommend this place!!

Yeah... no. The matcha itself was terribly bitter, definitely fitting the 'grassy' description I've seen others give it. And honestly, I wouldn't have given a one star if it was just that... Even if I never finished it.

But the lavender syrup that came with it was insanely sweet. It wasn't a lot and to its credit, it was pretty flavorful so I tried to at least drink the rest of that. But by the time I was done, I was left completely dissatisfied and reaching for the half drunk water bottle I had on hand.

Would not recommend. Will not go back.

Not super sweet and I really like it!

The matcha float tasted overly powdery and stuck to my tongue. The strawberry syrup made it taste really artificial, I’d expect real ingredients for the price I’m paying.

almost $10 for an iced latte and it tasted absolutely terrible. It tastes like I’m drinking medicine, I’m not sure if they made it right but it’s the worst Matcha I’ve ever had.

Stopped by Café Maiko and tried the matcha soft serve—it was gigantic! The portion size was impressive, and the flavor tasted like pure matcha: rich, authentic, and not too sweet. A must-try for matcha lovers.

My favorite matcha shop has really faded away… 😔 I used to love coming here. The mix shaved ice was always crazy tasty, the matcha latte perfect, and the service was fast and friendly. There was this guy who was always working—so neat, quick, and honestly made everything taste better just because of how much care he put in. I miss him a lot.

I hadn’t been in a couple of months, so today I walked in excited, planning to grab my matcha before shopping at Tysons. There was a small line (about 6 people), which I thought was a good sign. But this time it was four girls working, and things just felt… off.

First, they didn’t get my order right. They fixed it, but it already started to feel sloppy. I always tip high because I know how hard service jobs can be, but it really didn’t feel worth it this time. My latte came out first, but it wasn’t even mixed properly—just strong and uneven. Then I waited almost 10 minutes for my shaved ice. Not because it was crowded, but because they seemed unorganized. One was asking another where things go, what to do, etc.

When the shaved ice finally came out, it honestly looked sad. The ice cream on top was tilted sideways, the shaved ice wasn’t mixed, and there were clear chunks of ice everywhere. I even asked, “Do you think this is okay?” and they just said yes. At that point, I gave up, stepped aside, and tried to enjoy it. But honestly? I couldn’t. I ended up throwing it away. Wish took a photo of it…

I walked out disappointed, especially since I had tipped so well. Once, this was my favorite matcha shop. Now, I’m not sure I’ll come back—unless the owner (the guy I mentioned) is around.

I feel cheated - they make this cone shape with the soft serve and it's hollow inside - gimme my ice cream..
