After arriving at the Capital One Center, we were searching for parking and found complimentary parking in the Wegmans and retail parking garage. Ometeo has a nice outdoor bar. The restaurant itself has a warm and cozy atmospher. We enjoyed the open kitchen concept and watching the tortillas being made. Even though it was mostly ice, everyone at our table enjoyed the Pineapple Ginger Agua Fresca and Tropical Hibiscus Agua Fresca. They were fruity and refreshing. Our server asked us if we wanted chips and salsa shortly after being seated and before we got a chance to look at the menu. It would have been good to let us know they were $9. This was the first restaurant that I've been to that the chips and salsa weren't complimentary. The Chips and Salsa consisted of warm, freshly made tortilla chips and three types of salsa - salsa ranchera, salsa tatemada, and salsa verde cruda. I didn't like how all the salsas were mildly spicy. The only salsa I could tolerate was the salsa tatemada. Since everyone in our party ordered Fajitas, we had a communal tortilla warmer with flour and corn tortillas. All of the Fajitas came with hot sauce, queso asadero y verduras, arroz verde, and refritos. The other girl in the party had a Vegetable Fajita, which consisted of hot peppers, zucchini, corn, onions, green onion, and melted cheese blend. She asked for a side of Guacamole. They originally charged us $14 for it. I'm glad we checked because it was only supposed to be $4. The rest of the party shared the De Res Con todo Fajitas, which consisted of grilled skirt steak, bone-in short rib, ribeye, hot peppers, onions, green onion, cactus, and melted cheese blend. Among the three steaks, the bone-in short rib was my favorite. It was juicy and quite flavorful. Both the skirt steak and ribeye were a bit dry and overcooked. By the end of the meal, we were quite stuffed and had no room for dessert.

Listennnnn.... Ometeo, the parking sucks. HOWEVER, the service is A1. We had a great time with our server (I honestly don't remember her name because she left before we finished) but the best experience was with our backup server Phillipe. He took such great care of us, made us laugh, seriously took our first time from a 5 to a 10. Make sure you order the short rib tacos, the carnitas de pato and the hibiscus guava margarita. We also tried the spicy margarita, 10/10. We will definitely be back with a bigger group. Thanks Ometeo!!

The vibe of this place was really fitting for the food they offer. Place is huge and great place to bring a big group of people. The service was great! They were very attentive as much as they could, considering how big this restaurant is. We ordered the guac app and for entre: Fajitas - De Res (skirt steak, bone-in short rib & rib eye) for two. SO GOOOD. It was somewhat oily, but sooo good. Fresh food, fresh tortilla with 2 Guava & Hibiscus Margaritas. Keep in mind, the pricing is pretty expensive. I would come here occasionally, but if you have not tried it, I would recommend for you to try!

Sat at the bar on a Monday night, wasn't crowded. Bar tender was very helpful in suggesting drinks. The place has a very cool vibe. Got the chips and salsa, they were solid. There is a cool room upstairs but it wasn't open, would like to go back and sit in there!

I love a good Tex Mex spot and Ometeo scratches that itch. It's a beautiful restaurant that has many different spaces inside and out.As for the food, they're definitely on the pricier side for everyday Mexican fare like esquite, rice and beans, chips and salsa, etc (but still really tasty). But their premium ingredient filled items like the Maine Lobster Tostada, Short Rib Tacos and Ribeye Tacos with Melted Manchego are unique and very delicious. Also, their corn and flour tortillas are both made in house and their staff are all extremely accommodating and friendly.I would definitely return to try their other menu items.Kid-friendliness: High chairs are available as are kid's cups.

The food is good here, probably better than the average Mexican restaurant in the area BUT, It's way overpriced. Chips cost $9, a house margarita is $13, 1/2 Chile relleno $18. in addition to that the portion sizes are small, I ordered fajitas and actually left the restaurant hungry with a $75 tab before tip.

The service is good the atmosphere is good the manager or whatever her position is name Nawar was very nice too. The food is terrible. We were 4 and we all had Fajitas, portions were small and no taste to it . Mine was shrimp fajita and it was 5 shrimp with burned onions and that was it. The round bread was thick and terrible. Nice atmosphere but food wise they don’t know what they are doing ?

We really enjoyed Ometeo, its fun, lively and a fantastic place to bring a group. We had a busy week and desperately needed a break (don't we all), we decided on Ometeo as we were driving to our regular dinning spot....the minute we arrived we felt we had made a good choice, the atmosphere is well thought out, inviting and almost transports you.... we felt as if we were on vacation, just so fun! The bartenders David and Christine were amazing, friendly and informative, they helped us sort the menu and were spot on with their recommendations. The drinks were good (mostly premixed), but the food was the star... the chips and salsa, the homemade corn tortillas and queso. My husband said the carnitas were the best he ever had, and I loved my shrimp fajitas. We left wishing our stomachs were bigger, so we could eat more. We enjoyed everything about our visit. See you soon.

Get the fajitas. Great sides and salsas. REAL refried beans (delicious pork alert!), homemade tortillas (both kinds), real tostones (chips)..... not cheap, but very worth it! Can't wait to go back. Also enchladas and the soup were great. Do not forget the ESQUITES!!

First of all we were a group of 10 walk in which is inherently difficult to accommodate. At first they sent us upstairs, and we were told it would be two and a half hours before they could seat us. That was fine we were a group catching up from all over the country. We drank the Big Mexican Martini, Dobleo Chile, and the Hibiscus Guava drink. The drinks were excellent. We also got guacamole to share. Their chips were awesome, their guacamole could be a little more seasoned, the seasoned top just wasn't enough. Noir (sp)- one of the staff members actually ended up accommodating our entire party and sat us within 20 minutes which was phenomenal service. The service here is the absolute best. We got the Fajitas De Res con todo and wow that is the best meal for two. The steak was so tender and delicious I would 100% recommend getting this. It comes with cactus, peppers, sauces, and goodness they have the best beans. Their rice tastes similar to uncle Ben's Spanish rice but was topped with cilantro and cheese. Overall the service here is PHENOMENAL Brian was extremely kind and helpful in working through the accommodations for our party. The food was great overall and I would recommend this place for any type of celebration.

We like Salt Line and we're hopeful that Ometeo would be good experience. The waiter was great. The food was surprisingly average. I ordered a drink that never came. The place feels corporate. One dish was cold. It's a 20 something crowd and it was crowded and loud. Understandable for a Friday.

Where do I start. Service was overall bad. It took a long time to get our drinks and they were incorrect. When confronted they ignored us. Food was ok but over-priced. On top of all that I saw the cook wipe his nose with his bare hand. Don’t go here, save your money for something more authentic.
