I recently visited your Woodmore location for the first time, and I want to share some feedback about my experience. Unfortunately, my visit did not meet expectations. While I was looking forward to trying Roaming Rooster for the first time, the service left much to be desired. I mistakenly thought my number had been called — I was number 17, and number 16 had just been announced. I approached the counter believing my order was next, only to be met with rude and dismissive behavior from the staff. A staff member (who I was told may have been the shift leader — she wore braids and glasses) loudly told me, “Your number is at the top of the receipt,” in a tone that felt unnecessarily condescending. Additionally, the environment was loud due to the volume of the music, which made it more difficult to clearly hear order numbers being called. To make matters worse, I was not given a proper receipt because the machine ran out of paper, and no one offered to reprint it. This added to the confusion when trying to verify my order. As someone who values good food and good service equally, I found this experience disappointing. I hope you will take this feedback into consideration to help improve customer service and training at this location. First impressions matter, and I genuinely hope future visits to your establishment reflect the positive reputation Roaming Rooster is known for.

Great place and all. But the cashier lady today forgot my order. No English at all. Made me late for work. Wait time is annoying.

I’ve never felt moved to write a review of a fried chicken sandwich before, and I have eaten a lot them, but everything about this sandwich is perfect. Perfectly crispy, juicy chicken, great accompaniments and a sizable portion. Shockingly delicious.

Amazing sandwiches, but a little pricey and the wait time for food is long.

The honey butter is great but last time I went in they only put one patty on when every other place I've been to puts two on. And all the pictures on the menu show two. Wasn't filling at all. And expensive but delicious. Was over ten bucks when a small sandwich like that at mcds is like 3

Looong wait times and the food is ok but not worth the wait. I had to wait exactly 10 minutes to get fries, just fries. There’s a little attitude issue, and no parking at all unless you go up stairs to the Walmart parking. I regret giving them a tip upfront.

Came here during a hospital trip for my mom after driving 6-ish hours from NC and it was probably the highlight of those few days (that isn't saying much but it really was quite good). The chicken nuggets don't come in any less-spicy variation than Mild, which was still lip-tingling. The meat is so insanely juicy and tender you'd think it was slow-cooked. The fries come in Five Guys-like abundance, but are much higher quality, being very crispy and dark (I think they were listed as twice-fried so that might explain it). The OREO shake was highly respectable and helped pass the time waiting for the real food, but if I ever end up here again I'll get a proper drink as well. The place is located in a rather charming little shopping center, and open very late. I'm lucky to have found it so close to the hotel.Drawbacks - took 20ish minutes to get my food, and a shake-fries-nuggets combo was as many dollars. Don't come here like it's McDonald's.
