One of the best experiences I have had, and I'm a food blogger came because my friends and I wanted to try somewhere new and they love my recommendations. Loved our experience with Ali! Can't wait to go back the food the drinks the menu superb to compliment the service.

Service was good. Food was tasty. Portions appropriate for fine dining. It was about right. Tried multiple dishes. Ambiance nice.

Excellent per usual - we usually just order a la carte but this was our first time doing the chef's tasting menu - it did not disappoint! Incredible value and absolutely delicious!

Time to be acknowledged at table and give drink order was way too long. Food was a good value but drinks were ridiculously priced. With so many options in the area I won't go again.

A restaurant plunked in the middle of a (11th floor) hotel lobby? What is the opposite of "cozy?" The food and service were good, but not worth the trip. The hotel is in a glitzy new Tysons development inside a moat of wide, high-speed roads, and the parking garage design is the worst.

Short rib appetizer was great, so was toro and other sushi. Our server was very attentive and knew her stuff. The one disappointment is the wine list, both by the glass and bottles. It would have been nice to have a good Chablis or Chianti. Also, so many people were dressed in sneakers and sweatshirts, it messes with the atmosphere. A dress code to keep this place looking nice, would go a long way.

Our last experience was what I hope was just an anomaly- we usually have great meals and service at Wren, but made the mistake of going on a Friday (usually we're there midweek) and parking was a mess (I think there was an event at Capital one). We were seated at a high top in the bar area, which is usually fine, but mid way through our meal a large after-party from a rehearsal dinner mobbed the bar, bumping our table repeatedly, crowding us, loud conversations, etc. - it's a round bar and staff should have moved the revelers away from the diners. The food was fine but at that point we just wanted to eat quickly and leave - we didn't even stay for dessert for the birthday we were celebrating. An overall disappointing experience. Again I'm hoping this was a one-off as Wren has been reliably good previously.

Was amazing experience! The place is very busy and thus noisy, so if you wanna have a more quiet dinner, make a reservation 8.00PM onwards during weekends. Food and cocktails were terrific! Definitely must try when you are in the area.

Great views and fun, eclectic food. Somewhat expensive due to the small, shareable portion approach.

Overall, food was great. Would have loved for some of the food to have a tad bit more seasoning (like the fried rice) BUT it was flavorful. The wagyu was immaculate! Great ambience/atmosphere and service was great as well. Will absolutely go back.

We did the reservation on Open Table. Although the app said it was open for dinner at 4:30 it was not. We could only sit at the Bar. The service was not great and the food was just okay.

Delicious food! Can be a bit loud if you are seated next to a larger group. Large bar and yummy cocktails too.

Serviceable is my best description. Male dominated happy hour style crowd with a noise level to match. Food and drinks were fine. Would go back if convenient (staying at that hotel or working nearby building) but would not seek it out over other local options beyond convenience.

The food was exceptional, with complex and surprising flavor profiles. Our server made excellent recommendations we wouldn't have chosen ourselves.

Food was delicious, and the izakaya tasting menu was a fantastic choice for my table. The first few courses came at a good pace, but then there was an interminable wait for the scallop risotto and wagyu beef and we were never updated. Our server was warm and friendly. The open concept dining room/hotel lobby was really off. Also, signage in the garage and elevators said that Wren was street-level, but one should proceed to the hotel lobby on the 11th floor.
