Charming historic home in beautiful Hunt Country. Couples out for a casual night and expected superb food and service. Service was as expected, polite, pleasant and timely. Malbec was perfect. Foods ordered: Pot Pie, Risotto, Seared Trout and Steak Frites. The pot pie was flavorful but the coconut was unexpected - if the description had included coconut, we would have made another choice. The risootto was an ugly, baby-foodish glob on a plate. No discernable risotto could be found...
Hunter's Head Tavern was amazing! I went to celebrate my birthday and loved the English Pub vibes in the restaurant. The staff were extremely courteous and accommodating, the food was HOT, seasoned well, and just overall delicious. Bonus points for using locally sourced ingredients when able. Definitely planning to come back!

My husband and I absolutely adore this restaurant. The food and service has been wonderful every time. We love the atmosphere and it's such a comforting place to go to after a long hike.
We recently held an event here and it was fabulous. The servers were accommodating, the food came out at a timely manner, and the space was prepared just how we needed it to be!
