Delicious little retro diner!! The onion rings are absolutely heavenly and the desserts taste like my grandma baked them. The key lime pie is amazing with a scoop of strawberry ice cream.

My friends and I are regulars of this place and it never disappoints!! Its clean, tasty, authentic Greek, decorated very nice, and the breakfast options are out of this world. The peanut butter pancakes are the most unique breakfast item, but I've tried the rest and its all good. I highly recommend Amphora.

Went here for breakfast on a Saturday and it was delicious! Prompt service and very friendly greetings. Food took a few min longer than expected but it was obvious it was because each item was being made 100% fresh and to order! Worth the extra 5 min! I had the breakfast burrito and he had the country sausage frittata. Both were so tasty! We will definitely return for more breakfast and future dinner. Highly recommend!

I have been an Amphora fan for years. As a Vienna native, I have had many long talks, drunken nights, and long brunches at Amphora. Now, not living in the area it’s rare I can bring my family here. I brought my 10 year old here after a soccer tournament and the managers made her stay great. Thank you for bringing in a new era of Amphora fans!!P.S. the Carrot Cake I brought home tasted as good as it did when you made my wedding cake 16 years ago!

You can always count on Amphora for a great diner experience! They are taking COVID precautions seriously. Staff are all masked and seating is socially distanced. They have added a couple of outdoor tables and take out is available. Lots of Amphora classics to be had. We enjoyed the gyro platter, chopped salad, open faced turkey sandwich with gravy, and roasted vegetable platter. Delicious and large portions. Don’t forget about this Vienna classic.

You have found you place!It's on thing to have good food made from scratch, regular patrons, and be completely authentic...... but Amphora does all that + is good for your soul. If you have a family it is the place to go. 5-7 kids choices will leave everyone happy. The food is good, the conversation is even better. With all that is going on right now places like Amphora are even more essential. It's not just comfort food but a comfort place.Just put it in your rotation. Maybe avoid take-out once week and go here. Being near others (they are doing a great job of Covid measures) will be worth it for you. It was for my family.

That’s the feel you get when you step into this beautiful restaurant - everything is clean and you can tell it’s taken care with love. Food is delicious and tastefully plated. Service was very good and the waiter who’s worked there since 2003, was very attentive.

We finished shopping at IKEA and decided we needed a late night dinner. Amphora to the rescue for famished and tired shoppers! Since it was a late night dinner we decided on burgers. Cooked perfectly and delicious! Definitely add on the caramelized onions! They were cooked to perfection! And what is a trip to Amphora without mouth watering dessert to take home? Yummy chocolate cake, light and airy cheesecake, and tart lemon meringue! We'll be back for sure! If you haven't been out to a restaurant since the pandemic, you'll be happy with all of the safety precautions in place to make you feel safe. Utensils are individually wrapped in a plastic pouch, social distancing, outdoor seating available, staff wearing masks and gloves, and sanitizing.
Just had a fabulous breakfast at Amphora's Vienna location. Zorba omelette, pancakes, eggs, and bacon. Even the coffee was very tasty! Felt very comfortable eating inside -- staff was masked up, plenty of distance between tables, and silverware was presented in sealed plastic bags. Highly recommend, and don't forget to get some of their famous desserts to go!

Have been coming here for 16 years. My kids have grown up on their bagels all the way and various eggs Benedict’s. The staff is awesome. One of the waiters was “our” waiter every time we came in. He watched my sons grow up and always asked about them when I came by myself. This place is the epitome of old school diner. How can you not love a place that’s open all the time! Food is good. Service is great.

Been coming here for years. Bakery and have also been to there Herndon location. I’ve always left full and satisfied. Heck, they still do, even during the pandemic. I got my family into them too. Nice places for yourself, family, friends, work meetings, studying, etc. Every platter (and desserts ?) worth the try!

New to the area so wanted to check out this neighborhood staple. We came for lunch around 1130am and were the first ones in line. The staff all were wearing masks and gloves. We ordered the chicken breast club on whole wheat and the Amphora burger. As others have mentioned the portions are a really good size. I was able to save half of my chicken breast club sandwich for another meal. The french fries were tasty but definitely too greasy. I look forward to coming back here to try the desserts.
