Pretty good. I only ordered to go the 10+ time and never dined in , but the food is still amazing to go. The missile naan is fire.

We went here for a monthly girl's dinner out in between Thanksgiving and Christmas 2024 and had a wonderful experience. The food was delicious and I believe Winston was his name, he explained one of the appetizers we got that we never had before and how to eat it. Although he was not our waiter, he was very personable and nice.

A unique culinary experience, authentic Indian cuisine. Their shrimp 🍤 butter masala (mild or medium spicy) were excellent. The chicken 🐔 hariyali delivered a magnificent array of flavors. To top things off we closed with bodam kheer and sweet pan. Highly recommend this establishment. Great service was included..👍

Finger licking, delicious food! Best Dahi Batata Puri I've eaten.
Perhaps a note to those with spice sensitivity : Medium Lal Maas was spicier than Med Biryani or Gobi Machurian (which were missing crispy florets, but excellent gravy)
Informed that the ladies bathroom had run out of napkins.
Counting days to go back for more.

AMAZING FOOD! These people know what they are doing. They have an extensive menu and have some amazing food on the menu. Their yellow dal has a smoky flavor and it is the best.

Restaurantji Recommends
I was pretty excited about trying this Indian restaurant but unfortunately my experience was pretty disturbing. I ordered Panner Butter Masala and Garlic Naan for pick up and made sure to specify ‘No Spicy’ However, when I got home and tried the food, it was incredibly spicy and so I couldn’t eat it. I immediately called the restaurant and asked for a refund because my dietary restrictions were not met. When I asked if I was going to be able to receive a refund, the man over the phone yelled at me “I AM DOING IT” “I AM DOING IT” This kind of treatment is unacceptable and I will never recommend this place to anyone.

I got Butter chicken, pav bhaji, deviled eggs and hakka noodles and gobi manchurian cauliflower. As a foodie I can guarantee this is the best I have ever had.

Far and away my favorite Indian restaurant in NoVA. So many dishes to recommend. The tandoori chicken, the cauliflower (gobi) appetizer, the biriyani. Excellent selection of Indian soft drinks too, all wrapped up in a package of excellent and attentive service.

The service here was really good and the food was the highlight. We had been here for dinner, they seated us and gave us time to decide on our order and gave their recommendation too.. It was a chilly evening, so had ordered chicken wings which was well prepared. For main course we ordered lamb cops.
Will be back with our all group

A Delightful Culinary Experience at Bansari Indian Restaurant
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Bansari Indian Restaurant in Northern Virginia, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish.
The ambiance is warm and inviting, with tasteful decor that creates a perfect balance of modern and traditional vibes. The staff was incredibly attentive and welcoming, ensuring that every detail of our dining experience was taken care of.
As a vegetarian, I was thrilled by the variety of flavorful options on the menu. The Paneer Tikka Masala was a standout dish – rich, creamy, and bursting with authentic spices. The Dal Tadka was perfectly cooked and paired beautifully with their freshly baked garlic naan. For appetizers, the Vegetable Samosas were crisp and generously filled, a great way to start the meal.
One of the highlights was their dessert selection. The Gulab Jamun was a sweet and satisfying way to end a fantastic meal.
Overall, Bansari is a true gem in the Northern Virginia area, offering authentic Indian cuisine with impeccable service. Whether you’re a vegetarian or enjoy non-veg dishes, there’s something here for everyone. Highly recommended!
