Nice place. One section is a dining room and one section is a bar. Food was delicious. We had French Dip and Crabcake sandwich and they were yummy. Good service, relaxed, nothing fancy atmosphere and good cocktails.

Ample space for a large crowd. Two large wraparound bars at both sides of the restaurant with great outdoor/fireplace room. Anywhere you place yourself; you’re bound to have a good time.. lighting is soft, and entire restaurant is festive with the holidays in mind.
I find myself always getting the loaded nachos. So good. And the service.. Holly served my friend and I on this busy Friday evening. She had a host of other tables to wait on but still was on top of our needs.

I love the cozy vibe in this place so much. Often come here for brunch after my weekend morning tennis or the annual Halloween parades or happy hours or Tuesday dinner just because. They are truly dog friendly and could host small events like baby shower etc. Service has been good and I always felt home here. Their food was okay - not premium but good enough that you won’t feel disappointed. I honestly think it’s way better than the newly opened yellow colored restaurant on everything! At least I’m willing to pack food here to-go on my unfinished dishes.

My Baja Mahi Tacos exceeded my expectations. The fish was perfect and all the ingredients blend together resulting in great flavor. Ash was attentive, personable and fast during a very busy happy hour! Since I see no option for 10 stars, I rate Bear Branch the maximum 5.

Food ranges from pretty good to excellent - some of the specials really stand out. The service is spotty, as there seems to be a lot of staff turnover. Beer selection is better than the pre-mixed drinks. Also the bleach based cleaner smells very strong at times.

This restaurant was amazing! The portions were big! The ambiance was very welcoming and nice. They also had live music as well on Friday night! Our waiter was very nice and friendly. Food was amazing!!!!! The burger was my favorite dish!!
Great spot for a casual dinner or drinks with a game in the background. Just a couple of beers with a snack this time: Oysters Chesapeake and a couple of Power Moves IPAs.

The burger was so bad I had to have them take it back, the bread was hard the burger over cooked and no taste. They outside seating was very uncomfortable due to the amount of bees going around your head, your food, your your body, your the kids. Something needs to be done with that asap! The service was slow. The waitress uniform was very Unappropriate for a Sunday afternoon with the family- too small and too short. I will Never come back here again this is my third time and I’ve left disappointed! Sucks it’s the only outdoor restaurant on maple. Management needs to read this and make some changes.

Great food, service, and atmosphere. We came in with a large group including 4 children from 7 to newborn. Emily M., our waitress could not have been more accommodating to the requests of the children. It was a nice relaxing atmosphere, with delicious food. The Oktoberfest beers and food specials were on level with food from Germany. We have found our family restaurant in Vienna.
Kid-friendliness: A family oriented restaurant with waitresses like Emily who go above and beyond to accommodate families and children. Most tables were families with young children, a testament to their family friendly environment.
