I'm writing this review after trying Big Buns Vienna branch, and the newest location in Fairfax (which still doesn't have a yelp entry at the time of writing this review). I tried the Classic burger, the Hot and Hefe, and the Shirlington Hot Nashville chicken sandwich.This is not your typical run-of-the-mill fast food burger joint. For the beef burgers, this place makes them exclusively from angus beef which makes for a totally elevated burger experience. I ordered mine medium and they were SO juicy and flavorful.The Nashville hot chicken sandwich (Shirlington) caught me by complete surprise. I didn't expect a burger place to sell such flavorful and truly hot chicken sandwich. It's not for the faint hearted, though. Order your hot sauce on the side and add it to taste if you cant take the heat. But don't sleep on this one. It tastes way better than at specialized hot chicken restaurants.I took away one star because the lower part of the bun gets very soggy and starts to disintegrate by the time you reach home. I would choose dine-in over takeaway for that reason. I hope they work on sourcing better quality buns or figure out a way for their buns not to get too soggy and ruin the nearly-perfect burger experience. Also, their fries portions are small compared to the price.Nevertheless, I'm definitely coming back for more flavorful burgers and hot chicken!

Big Buns definitely lives up to its name. The burgers are definitely big and very tasty, especially with the freshness of the toppings, juiciness of the patty, and their seasonings. I love that you are able to build your own burger. They also have a great selection of sodas and shakes, along with stellar service. Never ceases to impress.
This is by far the best burger joint in town, period.Manager is super nice and attentive. Good job!

Amazes me when an overpriced burger place charges you for pickles on your burgers…that’s un-AmericanThe worst part was the attitude and the lack of customer care at this place. Totally different experience at the Reston location.The manager was even worse than the younger fellow taking orders.?????

I come here all the time at least once a week. I love the way the staff treats their customers and how the staff always tries to make me and every other customer happy. Aside from their great service the food here is outstanding and I would 100% recommend this place to everyone.

My recent experience at Big Buns was completely ruined by the incompetent and rude service provided by employee Kebba. Although we made a very large to-go order worth $100+ and even paid a tip, he refused to give us extra ketchup or mayonnaise unless we paid for it!!!! Not only was he dismissive and unhelpful when I asked, but he also displayed a blatant lack of professionalism by rolling his eyes and saying “I gave you what’s on your receipt”Furthermore, Kebba seemed disinterested in accommodating my request. His overall attitude towards us was appalling, and it's clear that he lacks the basic customer service skills necessary for his role.I left Big Buns feeling frustrated and disappointed, and I will definitely think twice before returning to this establishment. Management should seriously reconsider employing individuals like Kebba who tarnish the reputation of the business with their subpar performance and negative demeanor.

Tasty fast casual burger place. The place isn't huge but they weren't too crowded on a weekday afternoon. Everything was clean and bright inside.Burgers are made to order so they're hot and fresh and bring your appetite since these things are huge. I had the horseradish bourbon bacon burger and enjoyed it. It comes with Muenster Cheese Applewood-Smoked Bacon, Bourbon Mushrooms, Onions, Shredded Lettuce, andTomato Jam. I don't like mayo so I skipped the Horseradish Cream SauceThe fries were tasty as well and not too greasy so they went well with the burger. The peanut butter shake was also very tasty and worth a try.This place is a little pricey and like most places they de facto expect a tip even though they're fast casual. I enjoyed my meal and will come back here for a tasty burger.

This is the best Big Buns hands down. I've been to all of them and I really love the service and atmosphere here. The food at BIg Buns is generally consistently amazing but the service here is phenomenal and has been every time I've come. Highly recommend.

I ordered a burger "bundle" with fries and a drink on the website. A woman came out of the back, tossed a bag on a counter and ran back to the back. I went over and looked at the other side of the bag and it had my name on it. It had a straw stapled to the bag so I thought my drink was in there. I got no drink, no napkin and no ketchup on the burger I had ordered. All for a 20% tip. The burger was good but there's plenty of room for improvement.
