Humanity has not imagined a method of torture sufficiently cruel to punish whoever designed the payment processing for the ordering app here. Otherwise it’s great

Very disappointed!! skimpy portions, expensive, and the food wasn’t great. Skip the Caboose and go elsewhere in Vienna!!!

Good coffee and food right off the W&OD trail with lots of bike parking for a coffee/brunch bite

So grateful to have Caboose in the neighborhood.

The tangerine gose is one of the best things that I have ever tasted.

I've been here before and I love the beer and service, but they lost my business today because they simply don't have enough parking spaces. This is so frustrating!

What a treat to find a traditional, 'industrial' microbrewery, right in the middle of Vienna...with wonderful coffee, food, AND hand-crafted beer! With a beautiful facility and refreshing outdoor seating. Plus a delightful staff! Right on a bike path. ???

What more could you want?!?

This place is awesome!! Right off the trail so super convenient for my family who chooses to get around without driving! Also the food is amazing! Super kid and dog friendly too. 10/10!

I honestly love coming here right after my walk/jog on the W&OD trail. I love the changing Taco Tuesdays and the quesadilla with carnitas.

Updated: Still would give zero stars after the lackluster response from the owner. The situation arose where a staff member felt he needed to interject and yell at a 5 year old and snatch a hat out of his hand that he wanted to buy? Deflecting blame on children is a great way to run a family business. Keep your overpriced, subpar food and beer. You won’t see us again.

Just left Caboose Brewing and we will not return. Not kid friendly, this was our third time at the brewery and will be our last because of how our two children were treated by a staff member, a tall younger white male with a pony tail. We had told our children they could look at hats, they were laughing with hats in their hands and he proceeded to come over, scold them they can’t play with hats unless they pay for them, and rips the hat out of our 5 year old’s hand. So much so that after being seated our son was still upset. Rather than support a business that doesn’t support families we left to another restaurant. The worst part was after a group of
Co-workers and patrons were giving the employee a thumbs up. I hope you’re all proud and never experience the joy of having children because clearly you can’t handle it.

I reached out to Caboose directly beforehand to provide this feedback, but never got a response, so now I'm sharing publicly -- especially since someone else had a recent similar experience with the wait staff.

A friend and I visited Caboose Tavern for a late lunch which was mostly just coffee/beer and were looking to eventually do some food. As is promoted all over their website and social media, we intended to get some work done while eating/drinking at the brewery. However, our waitress had other plans. After ordering our first round of drinks, we pulled out our laptops to get some work done.

Our waitress then completely ignored us. Mind you, this was mid-afternoon and there were only a couple of occupied tables. She repeatedly went to the other tables and took their food orders and extra rounds of drinks -- all while never again offering us any other opportunities to order. At one point she came by and simply took one of our empty glasses stating "let me get that out of the way." As time passed, we tried several times and finally got her attention so we could get our check and leave, very disappointed and unlikely to return.

Caboose used to be awesome, but like many of the other recent reviews show, things have gone downhill.

Great beer, but unfortunately the food has diminished considerably. The food used to be great with many unique items on the menu. But the last time I went, the menu was uninspiring with typical bar offerings that can be found practically anywhere/can easily be made at home - burgers, wings, quesadillas, nachos and the like. Perhaps they no longer have a professional chef? The ingredients no longer seem top notch. I used to get the shrimp and grits that was delicious with large head and tail-on shrimp. No longer on the menu. I tried the Creole BBQ Shrimp but it had small shrimp, no tail or head and the sauce was uninspiring. I can make it better myself. The watermelon ceviche was just so so and I didn't finish it. But the beer is still good! But not sure I'll make the trip there just for the beer. Such a shame as I used to tell everyone this was one of the only breweries that was doing it right with top notch beer AND food. No longer the case.

Very open, warm space with outdoor seating, trees, and access to the W&OD trail. VERY tucked away in the back of an industrial complex, but well worth the visit. Just be aware that parking can be scarce. The food and beer were excellent, the coffee was solid. The service was friendly. We will definitely be back.

$9 pints and no one will serve you. This place is strange.
