We were in NY for a week. So thankful we happened upon this diner! We had brunch there 2 days, and drinks before a play. The food was amazing, as were the drinks, but the best part was the staff!! I loved the vinaigrette on the brunch greens that accompanied my omelet. Would LOVE to know the brand or the recipe! Eat here! You'll be happy you did!

Made reservations morning of and was sat within minutes of getting there. Love that they have a kids menu. Food came out very quickly and was so good! One of my favorite breakfast meals I had while in NYC. Had a vanilla latte that was very good as well. Can’t wait to go back!

The experience was, to sum it up, average. Food feels like it was pre-made and heated up, and for exorbitant prices, definitely not worth your time. Atmosphere is great though, and hadn't got a chance to try one of their cakes, which are plentiful here. If you come here, make sure not to get carried away, lest you be spending upwards of $100.

Went here for the first time on thanksgiving with my family. The food was okay, nothing worth coming back for. The service was horrible since our server took way too long with everything from taking our order, checking on us, taking away dishes we were done with and for the check. We kept seeing her talking and laughing in the hallway by the kitchen with her other coworkers. We ended up ordering dessert to go with how long she took. I was super excited to try the 24 layer chocolate cake, gourmet red velvet cake, and strawberry cheesecake but they were all horrible and not worth the amount we paid for. The chocolate cake had egg shells in it and overall the taste was not that good. I've had chocolate cake from the grocery store taste better than that. The red velvet cake wasn't even red it was basically grey brown with whipped frosting and tasted horrible. The cheesecake also tasted horrible, it barely tasted like cheesecake. We really wanted to like this place since the locations in NY are popular but it is not worth coming back to. The place is also super small and the seating arrangements are honestly awful if you're not able to get a full booth seating. I for sure don't see this place lasting long here. You're better off going to iHop or Bob and Ediths!

My daughter & family had a wonderful time at Carnegie. All the staff were super kind and attentive. The food was delicious and huge portions. Christopher, greeted & made our lunch experience a great one. Will def be back! Katie makes the cutest latte art as well. Only suggestion would be to expand the hot drink options by adding a chai or matcha option. Those would def sell ☺️

My family and I have become regulars. Great service from the bar! Tyler and Jason are always on point. Food is classic New York. Shout out to Phoebe and Christopher for running a tight ship.

We have been there multiple times both for Breakfast and Lunch. Their food quality and variety is simply amazing. I would really recommend you try their 24-layer chocolate cake. Both Christoforos and the people working were very polite and helpful

The food is 10/10. Pictures is the BLT Chicken and the Brownie Milkshake. Everything was delicious and worth the price in my opinion. The fries were crispy and I liked how the sandwiches included a salad. My sister ordered the Alfredo and she enjoyed it. The crispy chicken was different but in a good way. The chicken wings were delicious even though they were not that spicy. I would go back again for the food, especially the 24 layer cake.
Service on the other hand was pretty slow. What I noticed is that our waitress would attend everyone else first and made us wait 20 mins before taking our drink orders. It took longer to even get the water that is for everyone. They did not leave the water pitcher so I asked our waitress for more water and she never came back. What seemed like the manager finally gave us the water and was more attentive than our waitress was. She finally gave us actual service towards the end when it was time to pay.

The restaurant is a renovated bank. It's beautifully decorated. Highly recommend reservations during brunch as it's always crowded.
My first time dining and very impressed with service and food quality/portions. The apple pie, my only complaint is that it's cold but I asked to warm it up and of course they did. Mimosas fresh OJ were 5.00. Only serve beer and wine until liquor license received.

Recommend the California breakfast. All food coming put of the kitchen looked delicious. Great place for brunch.
