Best ramen spot ever! My husband and I live in Pittsburgh but we make sure we visit this place every time we’re in Virginia. The owner and staff are all so kind! The owner is very knowledgeable and always recommends things from the menu based on what we like. We love chicken and wagyu beef ramen, as well as their chicken katsu and onigiri. Definitely recommend others to visit! I wish we had this place back in Pitt

This is the second time we have had Ramen from Japomen but the first time we did takeout. We ordered the Halal Chicken Ramen and a sushi roll. The drive from the restaurant to our place is 30 minutes and let me just say, when we opened up the ramen it was as if it had just been prepared. It was hot and the way it was packed made such a big difference. The bowl had the broth on the bottom with a tray on top that held the Ramen, chicken, and all the toppings. And let me just say, the chicken isn't just boiled barely seasoned chicken. It is infused with flavor. I wish I had taken pictures but we were so ready to eat that we forgot. I have never had ramen from anywhere else and I never will because the one from Japomen is perfect.

My husband and I walked over here for lunch. I got the bento box with chicken katsu and my husband got the chicken katsu with curry. The portion size was great, and the taste even better! I want to emphasize that the curry was verrrrrrry delicious! We've been here once when they first opened, at that time we got the udon which was also very good. They also offer a variety of cool asian drinks. We both tried the yuju soda which was great. I saw they also offer a good variety of flavored soju as well. If you are looking for a quick and easy meal that is delicious, we highly recommend this place!

Really delicious. I ordered online, got the Tuna Avocado Roll, Fried Dumplings (with beef), White Dragon Roll, and the mango soda.
Everything was great. The White Dragon Roll was perfect with a tiny bit of soy sauce. Sushi was fresh, dumplings were nicely fried, avocado was good.
