We frequent the Rockville location, so we went to the Vienna location while in the area. We were greeted and told to pick any seat. We politely asked to sit in the only empty booth that wasn’t yet bussed. The server made a face, said nothing to us, and took the plates and cups off the table without cleaning the soaking wet table top. It was the weirdest interaction we’ve had at a restaurant. The food was okay, but the service and this interaction was just so weird we’ll never be back to this location. Definitely go to the Rockville location for better service and food, but note that the Rockville location is much busier for obvious reasons.

We were here very recently and enjoyed every aspect of our meal. Very homely, fresh vibes with clean tables and decorative plants spread throughout. Waitress was extremely friendly and attentive. Food came out fast (appetizer first), then meals. Not a ton of rice, but meal portions were large! We had the crispy green beans, chicken green curry, and fried pork. Everything was delicious, vegetables tasted so fresh and each dish, so flavorful. Curry was incredible, but will likely order spice level 2 next time as 3 was just slightly too hot (but not unbearable).Thai iced tea offered a sweet balance to the savory and spicy flavor from the food.Looking forward to coming back and trying some more of the authentic thai dishes!

We came in for an early dinner one night since I was in the area for work. We were pleasantly surprised by the food. I ordered the crispy pork dish which was delicious, and my partner ordered the crispy tofu with crispy vegetables. We also ordered the bread pudding for dessert. I almost forgot to add, I had the wonton soup for my appetizer which was also very delicious. Lastly, the ambiance of the restaurant is nice and it's not as loud as most restaurants are today. If you are in the Dunn Loring/Merrifield area definitely stop in and give this place a try.Dietary restrictions: They have spice level options, and vegetarian dishes as well. I liked the crispy tofu as well.

We've gotten delivery from this restaurant a number of times and it's always delicious. The mushroom forest and crispy chive cakes are particular favorites, but we've also had the pad see ew, panang curry, khao soi, and herbal falls and they were great as well. I'm so happy to find a place with khao soi - had it in Chiang Mai and it's hard to find in Thai restaurants around here.

I was just visiting for couple days and was looking for a nice dinner place close by hotel and found this one. Very impressed that they have so many kinds of food that I have never seen from another Thai restaurant before. Everything was very good and reasonable price. I can tell from many to go orders and people keep coming in even it’s just during the week. I wish I could order more and yes I did ordered to go for my lunch on the way back. Here will be my regular restaurant when I’m back in town. I love this place.

Forget about dining in. They have no menus so you may find yourself staring at your phone or at the screen they provide after you ask, that is after you wait forever for anyone to even notice that you’re there. The food tastes very different if you order it at different times. We ordered the same dish last night and today at lunch, and it tasted completely different. At dinner it was amazing. This has happened many times in the past. As a restaurant, they should use standard recipes, and the same dish shouldn’t taste different at different times, even if different cooks are on schedule. I am giving three stars as an average: sometimes the food is truly 5 stars, sometimes it is closer to 1 star.

We came here often. Love everything about it. The food here is better than some of those fancy restaurants. There are a variety of choices to choose from. Service is amazing. Prince is friendly. Highly recommend.

This has to be one of my favorite restaurants in Fairfax county. The food is always delicious and the service is fast and friendly (whether dining in or take out). The restaurant is so cute and warm and cozy, especially in winter. It’s a go-to for us.

Walking into Kiin Imm Thai Restaurant, I was ready for a journey into the heart of Thai cuisine. But what unfolded was a series of missteps that would leave even the most forgiving foodie disillusioned. The service? It was subpar at its best. The QR code menu, an impersonal touch in a world where connection is the essence of dining, was just the start. You'd think with a party of 13 in a nearly empty space, we'd be the center of attention. Instead, we were relegated to the sidelines, ignored and overlooked. A true disservice to the art of hospitality. Now, let's talk about the food. Seafood is a sacred ingredient in Thai cooking, and what we got was nothing short of sacrilege. Undercooked, underseasoned, and utterly forgettable. The kitchen seemed to have forgotten that Thai cuisine is a delicate balance of sweet, sour, salty, and spicy. Instead, what we got were dishes that were as bland as they were uninspired. And the spice level? Let's be clear, I'm all for a good kick, but spice without flavor is just a cheap trick. Their level 5 Thai spicy was about as exciting as a spicy KFC - some heat, no depth, no character. When spice becomes a cover-up for a lack of culinary skill, you know you're in trouble. The ambiance, admittedly Instagram-worthy, was the only thing they seemed to have invested any real thought into. But a pretty setting does not a good restaurant make. For service that was practically non-existent, having options to add more tips to an already set 20% tip is just annoying. In a nutshell, Kiin Imm Thai was a lesson in missed opportunities. A place that could have been a culinary hotspot but ended up being an example of how not to run a restaurant. Food is about passion, flavor, and bringing people together. Sadly, this place missed the mark on all counts.
