Family-owned ramen bar with fantastic sushi. They use fresh in-house clean-label bone broths and ramen that are amalgamated with just the right combination to tantalize both the traditional and modern Japanese and Western palates.
I had the Kizuna ramen and it was delicious! Premium Aburi Chashu (high grade pork belly carved and rolled, marinated overnight, braised for over 7 hours, chilled, sliced, and then chargrilled to smoky, tender perfection), delightful ramen noodles that are perfectly cooked and textured, and your usual ramen accoutrements, topped with a perfectly cooked and sliced Ramen Egg (Ajitsuke Tamago). Jinya ramen really can't compare with this, in my opinion.
if you get the chance to meet the owner Rock or his family members, be sure to ask them about the story of the restaurant. it's a warm combination of east meets west! ???
This is my go-to ramen place and the sushi is really good too. I love the kizuna ramen, my son likes the chicken ramen. I have been coming here for years and have always loved the pork belly baos, though now you only get two when a few years ago you would get 3, and lately when I've gotten it there is way too much fat usually on one of the buns, with not much real meat, just fat. That has been disappointing. I also now have to check all of my takeout before I leave because they have given me the wrong sushi rolls before. Overall I love this place and will continue to dine in and buy carry out. I hope they fix the bao issue though.
Detail is everything. The Wasabi is freshly hand made, fragrance is totally different from market product, makes the sashimi even delicious?, I so love it. Ramen’s noodles are really chewy?, in our words we called it “very Q”. My wife and I enjoyed a really wonderful lunch in Kizuna?.
